Dear Sir/Madam,
This letter is to express my interest in Forensic Failure Analysis
Engineer, System Engineer, QA Manager or Project Manager Position.
I am positive that I can be a beneficial addition to your team and
their clients. I believe that my hands-on failure analysis and
aircraft mishaps experience makes me an excellent fit to your
organization.
For the past nine years I performed more than 120 failure
investigations of all aircraft systems and their components
(engines, rotor transmissions, landing gears, structure, etc.) and
been the leading investigator of 7 jet-fighter, helicopter and UAV
mishaps. Some of the investigations were performed together with
engineers from main US aircraft and engine companies (Boeing, Bell
Helicopters, Sikorsky, P&W) in Israel and at their facilities in the
US. In addition, I performed a number of joint investigations with
the Israeli Police Forensic department and I am familiar with some
forensic techniques.
Beside the investigations, I determined the training process for
Failure Analysis Engineers and directed courses to engineers from
Israel and foreign countries.
In addition, as QA manger of the FA department, I have a wide
experience in implementing the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001,
ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems, performing internal and suppliers
audits and conducting the Lean Six Sigma approach in the
organization.
Throughout my education and work experience I have become a well-
organized, detail oriented team leader committed to providing the
best possible service for every client. I am prepared to rise to the
challenges presented by this position, while making a valuable
contribution to your operations.
As written in the attached CV, my wife is a US citizen, I have a
Permanent Immigrant Visa (Green Card) approved and will relocate in
US as permanent resident in June 2010
I am looking forward to hearing from you. Please find my contact
information at the top of the CV.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Emmanuel Hershko
