I mplement ERP software at two Mexican tooling facilities, numerous projects to assist
p lants in solving manufacturing problems.
PLANT CONTROLLER: Assume plant controller responsibilit ies in order to reconcile
n umerous general ledger accounts that had not been reconciled. Establish systems that
would accurately reflect plant financial activity. Solve numerous plant inventory problems.
Develop annual budget, monthly forecasts and operations analysis. Complete monthly
account reconciliations. Stabilize the accounting staff and build positive relations with the
operating management and staff.
SENOIR FINANCIAL ANALYSIS: Establish systems in response to Ford Motor
Corporations demand to correct tooling audit and billing issues. Ford’s new requirements
demanded that all suppliers meet the requirement of Supplier practice # 35. Audited all
charges t ransferred from plants and division and made sure that all appropriate charges
were presented. In many cases discovered that charges were less than should have been
p resented and thus billed millions more. Unexplained t ransfers from plants were analyzed
and subsequently billed and paid by Ford.
F INANCIAL ANALYST: Reconcile all Mexican inventory accounts on a monthly basis, fixed
assets; European financial statements for Spain, France, and Germany; approve debit and
credit documents, inventory control, plant audits.
