Osage, IA *****
Dear Human Resource Manager:
I am writing to apply for the position of Human Resource Generalist. I
would appreciate your consideration for this position. I believe I am
qualified for this position as a result of my education and supplemental
learning at my internship, previous and current employment opportunities.
I am a graduate of University of Northern Iowa and am currently a Packaging
Manager for a manufacturing firm in Osage, Iowa. As a Packaging Manager I
have learned how to implement lean manufacturing qualities but also take on
Human Resource roles for 40+ employees. I have been able to successfully
place employees in appropriate job functions, schedule employees over
multiple shifts, motivate employees, dealt with labor law issues, and
drafting satisfactory reports. Also, I have experience in keeping proper
inventory levels and some experience with the transportation of our
products.
As the enclosed resume indicates, I graduated in May of 2008 from the
University of Northern Iowa with a major in Human Resource Management and a
minor in Ethics. I have been privileged to enhance my education in the
Human Resource field with hands-on experience such as my positions with A
to Z Drying and Mudd Advertising. These positions have allowed me to gain
exposure in the area of Human Resources and Training and Development.
Additionally, my experience at A to Z Drying has provided me with the
opportunity to enhance my customer service and problem solving skills while
working as a member of a team. Finally, my experience with both Fareway and
the construction industry has allowed me to demonstrate my work ethic while
sharpening my skills in teamwork and attention to detail.
I offer the following:
. A loyal and friendly relationship with customers.
. Knowledge and experience with technology.
. The ability to present information in a clear and precise manner.
. The ability to learn quickly and a strong work ethic.

and Staffing.
. Experience with managing 40+ employees.
. Knowledge of managing and scheduling employees on multiple shifts.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to speak with you further about my
qualifications. If I can provide you with additional information or
