With Cisco take over of Scientific Atlanta (SA), Joint Orderability project

is to integrate SA SAP with Cisco's OraApps. Being a part of SA SAP team,

involved in the design, configuration & implementation of various objects

which include technologies like IDOCS, ALV Grid Controls, Enhancement

Framework, Workflow, BADIs & RICEF objects

> Designed and developed a tool using ALV Gird (OO) for monitoring the

Idocs based on the application data (order number, delivery number etc)

with numerous features to traverse to Application doc, error workitem,

Idoc flow on the application doc etc.

The features in this tool allowed the Business to recognize and solve

most of the Idoc errors without the help of Apps team or Tech team.

> Implementation of IDOC serialization. Considering the SAP limitation in

Object Channel serialization, proposed and successfully implemented

slightly custom serialization without loosing the SAP serialization

features.

> Development of custom Idocs (Order Ack, Material Hold/Rel etc) from

scratch with all the required settings.

> Customer master creation thru extended IDOC DEBMAS06 from the PO message

coming from Cisco. Developed a wrapper around standard Idoc processing

FM.

> Configuration and design of a single workflow for all the error Idocs. A

custom designed solution for Agent determination so that

Application/Business team can directly maintain the Agents without the

involvement of Technical team.

> Design and development of Order compare report. This report is used to

compare the order differences b/w SAP SO vs. Oracle PO. This object

a) A request IDOC from SAP to Oracle Apps. Generated from various sources

b) A Response Idoc from Oracle Apps to SAP.

c) A report to compare SAP SO data and the response from Oracle Apps.

> Design and development of complete PID( material ) processing module:

a) A program to extract the materials basing on different criteria into

target format.

b) A report with ALV docking container with real time error capability to

edit extracted data before generating the files for upload.

company in the field of Terminal Management System with 12 branches all

over Europe and USA. Their main business is to provide chemical storage

facility to chemical manufacturing customers.

Reports, Module Pool, User-Exits:

> A custom transaction to capture the scheduling, status, temperature,

duration for steaming of railcars which would be used to bill the

customer.

> A custom transaction to calculate the various parameters of the tank

based on its capacity, existing stock, blending etc.

> A report to execute the invoice process for the customer. This report

displays the invoice amounts for the steaming from where user can

proceed to invoice the customer.

> A new US specific custom work order report which is used by

operational staff to upload the chemical into the specified tank.

> Developed the Production Vs Dispatch Report and Pending Purchase Order

report.

> Developing an Interactive report clubbed with BDC for calculating

the Sales commissions for Internal and external agents

> Modifying the summary report for Production detail by Bill by

material group for various movement types
