I am a Senior Project Manager with over twenty years of experience; I have a
Bachelors Degree from Eastern University in Business Administration, and Project
Management Certificates from Penn State and Villanova, I am a long time member of
the Project Management Institute, and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I
am currently enrolled in the Masters in Construction Management Program at Drexel
University on a part time basis. I have extensive computer skills with Primavera,
Expedition and Prolog. My experience includes private, public, and negotiated
projects valued up to sixty million. I enjoy the challenges offered in this field, and
pride myself on the relationships I have maintained in this profession.
Work History / Experience
2006- Present: Vice President, Commercial Construction, Hard bid and negotiated,
work in the greater Philadelphia area, Projects include $29,000,000 renovation of the
Warwick Hotel to 108 luxury condo. New Lab Space and Patient Treatment Rooms
for Thomas Jefferson University. As well as New Office and Chambers for Justice
Shamus McCaffrey
2003-2006: Project Manager for CYMA Builders Inc. Projects include phased
Renovation and Fit out of a New Emergency Room, Construction of a new MRI Suite
for Montgomery Hospital. Negotiated CM work includes Laboratory and Office
Renovation for Centocor, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
2001-2003: Project Manager for Barkley White Skanska. Projects included
$60,000,000. New Science Building for Bristol Myers Squib in Princeton NJ, and
New Field House, and class rooms for University of the Sciences.
1999-2001 Project Manager for Large Construction, Nason and Cullen, Inc.
Projects include Crozer Regional Cancer Center, Fox Chase Institute for Cancer
Research, and the President’s Residence and Hayward Hall renovations for
Philadelphia University.
1997-1999 Project Manager for P. Agnes, Inc.
Projects include Thomas Jefferson University’s multi-floor renovation for Dr. Kean
and Dr. Rothman’s surgical suites, and new corporate offices for Jevic Transportation.
1993-1997 Project Manager and Estimator for Schaefer and Company.
Projects include Princeton University’s dormitory renovation, additions to the
Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and various upgrades
to Inglis House, in Philadelphia.
1986-1993 Superintendent for Cardiff Associates.
Projects include the renovation of the Governor Morris Inn Hotel, a new Field House
at Germantown Academy as well as renovations and new buildings at the
Philadelphia Zoo
