Summary of Qualifications:

Environmental Safety Health and Security (ESHS) professional with

experience in both union and non-union industrial settings: nuclear fuels,

pharmaceutical, petroleum refineries, chemical, metal refining and

extrusion. This broad industrial background and knowledge gained from Title

V permit application, OSHA VPP certification, and ISO14001 (RCS)

implementation provide a wide experience base for problem solving.

Currently working in the nuclear fuels processing industry as an

Environmental Supervisor. I have two direct reports, five indirect reports

and two full time contract employees. Major projects at the facility

include monitoring and maintaining closed properties, review of MOCs for

environmental impact, new chemical approval review, developing a closure

plan for five surface impoundments, and recycling of process waste streams.

This position has the responsibility to insure compliance with State and

Federal Environmental Agencies and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission

regulations. No deficiencies were found during recent IEPA and NRC

inspections of the facilities' waste management program. The plant

disposes of over two million pounds of solid waste each year and recently

completed certification on a part B storage facility for 8000 drums.

I have responsibility for compliance with all environmental regulatory

programs: RCRA part B permit - including implement new permit

modifications, Title V, NPDES and other programs. Most recently supervised

the submission of a RMP renewal, TRI, water treatment tank clean up, an air

construction permit, SPCC and SWPPP revisions. Developed procedure for

tracking a key air permit parameters and reporting trends that indicate

when process changes may be required. Perform initial new hire training

and reviews for plant supervisors.

Solutia - Greenwood, SC - ESHS Team Lead 10/05 to 11/08 Reported to plant

manager on incidents, action plans and progress made on all ESHS programs.

Responsible for the conversion of all environmental tracking and reporting

requirements to an electronic EMS system. Supervised a team with the goal

of revising the environmental and safety programs and implementing an

ISO14001 program: on track for certification.

Environmental

Completed a Title V permit application that led to a permit within one year

within operational units and the ESHS department, and aid in semi-annual

Participated EPA directed stakeholders groups for revising the industry's

listed waste disposal requirements (LDRs), and on voluntary initiatives the

Presidents' GHG reduction and the review of employee exposure monitoring

programs.

Acted as project manager for a three party $2.5 million PRP clean up which

included a ground water remediation program, a part B application, and

three Interim Measures activities

Had primary responsibility for the air, water and other environmental

programs, but was also highly involved in safety, which encompassed an

equipment and tank testing program.

Supervised all air programs within refinery: Title V application, NESHAP,

FGD, LDAR fugitive emissions, subpart CC, annual air emissions inventory,

air permits for plant modification, refinery MACT wastewater QQQ program

Created a tank seal inspection program for our petroleum tanks

Installed two new CEMs, certification, and implemented the associated QA/QC
