Your notice posted on the internet for an Administrative Assistant position
caught my attention. I feel that my background in administrative, office
and people skills makes me a highly qualified candidate for this position.
I am a team player and focused on the company's best interest and needs of
the company.
After 11+ years with Drucker & Falk Real Estate Company (1998-2009), I was
a casualty of their downsizing resulting from the weak economical
situation, which resulted in the elimination of 20+ positions in the
Newport News Office, with additional personnel at the branch and site
locations. This unfortunate circumstance places me in the position of
needing to secure a new position.
My employment with Gambro Healthcare (1974-1998) ended when the dialysis
manufacturing facility was relocated to Mexico, displacing all its
employees. I was given the opportunity to visit dialysis clinics and talk
to the staff and the patients.
Enclosed is my r sum to provide more information on my strengths and
career achievements. I would be pleased to have the opportunity to discuss
your needs and how I might be able to meet them. Please feel free to
contact me at the address or phone numbers listed above. I look forward to
speaking with you soon.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Sincerely yours,
Shirley Baker
