Position: Change Manager/IT Sr. Analyst

. Member of the Management Team providing IT support to three

Service Centers.

. Provide primary liaison between Vantage Foods and two key

software development firms: SI Systems (production and planning

software on SQL Server) and ITCS Webclock (time and attendance

software).

. Work with Production, Finance, and Service Center Staff (in all

three locations) to understand and document their requirements

to implement and ensure completion of any updates,

customization, and software developments through change request

process as well as providing ROI to CFO for approvals.

. Ensure reports generated from the manufacturing software are

providing the necessary information for production and finance

group.

. Provide "subject matter expert" knowledge to Vantage Foods on IT

issues including: desktop software and hardware issues, server

issues, networks, and communication issues, IT relations with

appropriate group.

. Designed, Rolled Out, and maintained new version of ERP System

Security-gathered all department functions and created security

groups by department by user levels.

of Manage 2000 ERP System.

. Provided extensive gap analysis by analyzing the system's

functional documents, analyzing the business processes of the

user communities, test and document my findings, and provided

. Provided insight with MPS/MRP process within ERP system (i.e.

the master production scheduler was never sure what his

production schedules would be during his weekly executive

management meetings where I looked at the bookings, shipments,

and MRP requirements and trained the user how to use the MPS

cutoff in conjunction with MRP runs and looking at lead times

showed how the system derived its production schedules.) and

modified their existing constants and flags to fine-tune their

processes to be more efficient.

. Using Uniquery Select statements, similar to SQL, able to

analyze quickly data issues/problems users are facing on a daily

basis.

. Review daily trouble tickets with support team to determine

assignment of the tickets and resolve issues as assigned.

Past 10 months I've been part of the implementation team when Ames

True Temper bought out UnionTools where I've been involved with

data mapping, extraction, translation, cleansing of Manage 2000 ERP

System to migrate data to Ames True Temper's CHESS ERP System,

Oracle 11i, and Catalyst, which will be the new systems going

forward for UnionTools distribution center in Louisville Kentucky.

. Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot database software

(Accountmate and Customized) written in Dbase IV.

. Spearheaded implementation of ERP/MRP System from Epicor (Manage

2000) upgrading the Accountmate System due to Y2K, which

included SOP, AR, AP, GL, Purchasing, Inventory, and

Manufacturing.

. Work with Epicor's Consultants to assist in understanding and

defining constants in all the modules that will drive the ERP

system to the company needs.

. Extract Item Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, AR, and AP

files from Dbase system and upload to Manage 2000 using Database

Builder Utilities (data mapping for file uploads) function.

. Provided Business Intelligence to executive management with

custom reports and dashboards to give them quick overview as

. Provided Enterprise Application Integration using third party

Data Collection barcode system (Collect 2000 from Manufacturing

Systems Corp) integrating to the company's existing ERP system

through ADI module using phantom process and BTI interface for

WIP and FG inventory tracking with Scale Integration to provide

greater visibility and inventory control and streamlining the

shipping process using ODBC for data mapping and printing using

Loftware LPS2000.

. Manage and maintain DLT and DAT backup system using Seagate

Backup Exec and Arcserve 2000 both with open file agent.

. Manage and maintain McAfee Total Virus Defense- Netshield, Group

Shield, and VShield; also Diskeeper Server and Workstations.

Last nine months I was employed in a consultant capacity where

consolidation of ferrite manufacturing facilities was being done.

Involved with shutting down manufacturing plant and moving product

lines to other sister companies. Moved ERP System from Paterson,

current AccPac system with Epicor's Manage 2000 ERP system.

. Assisted in developing the Debit Card application and testing

the equipment to be the fastest switch on the market.

Coordinate with programmers to make any changes that are

necessary to improve our switch. Coordinate with carriers such

as Sprint and MFS to order/cancel/re-route new T1s, DSUs and

CSUs and be prepared for installation.

. Troubleshoot and analyze where the problems exist, either our

switch, cross connection to MFS or the actual long distant

carrier. Call in and obtain trouble connection to MFS or the

actual long distant carrier. Call in and obtain trouble tickets

when problems arise and always escalate them to get any results.

Maintain redundant servers running on Novell SFT v3. 11B with

redundant UPS and power supply with two redundant switches and

comm. Node. Responsible for extracting call details for

customer support requests from Japan's head office. Coordinate

with Japan's office daily through fax to activate and deactivate

cards and to generate new card numbers as needed from sales

staff.

. Running Novell 3.11 server (250 user license) and also a Novell

3.12 server (25 user license) for remote logins for customer

services, using both coax and twisted pair Ethernet connectivity

with two 16 port hubs.

. Network duties consisted of running daily backups, maintaining

network security, assignment of passwords, etc. Create/delete

users, as required, assign trustee rights, and change

supervisor's password weekly. Assist in installation of new

software, modem, replace boards, cables, etc. Troubleshoot

network, workstations, printer problems and purchase and RMA

parts to perform repair as needed and coordinate with outside

consultants. Reconfigure inbound/outbound T1 to support new

customers, re-route traffic to take advantage of discount rates

on certain months.

. Administration duties consisted of creating and maintaining

manuals on system procedures and products. Maintaining detailed

inventory of equipment and configuration, reference books and

materials, registration and warranty information.

TLN (transparent local node), which simplified from the
