Provided overall migration project management oversight, design, and

cutover planning for moving all NEMC Healthcare applications,

infrastructure, and IT Services into Perot Managed Services

environments. This included using Six Sigma project controls for all

NEMC resident applications, interface engines, Clinical, Financial

(and DSS), external custom interfaces, all operational applications,

and network (internet and intranet).

. Successfully migrated all applications from an existing 3rd

party Services provider into Perot managed services structures

located in Boston and Dallas;

. Minimized application downtime through a very detailed and

extensive application cutover plan;

. Saved client over $20,000,000 in contract extension fees by

meeting a very aggressive migration / cutover date;

Health Nexis (Global Health Exchange), Senior Account Manager

Served as Client Executive responsible for day-to-day operations and

all services as the preferred IT provider for Health Nexis. Health

Nexis created an open and neutral electronic trading exchange, along

with complementary products and services that improved healthcare

supply chain efficiencies and reduced costs for all participating

providers and suppliers.

Project Manager for ProCare business integration project involving the

consolidation and rationalization of two separate businesses within

CVS into a single entity called ProCare. Functional areas of focus

included order management, fulfillment, inventory, finance, and credit

card services.

Responsible for technology and integration services supporting the

business integration objectives for ProCare. Chaired technology

steering committee for ProCare to resolve IT related issues, including

application design/development. As account manager, held

responsibility for day-to-day health of the business, client executive

relationship, and new business development.

Director of Operations responsible for day-to-day operations of joint

venture company formed between BoI and Perot Systems. Oversaw

datacenter located in Dublin, Ireland, supporting one of the largest

ATM network in Europe and all BoI retail banking systems. Transitioned

over 200 BoI employees into the new company and supported all people

change management activities. Managed annual datacenter operating

budget in excess of $50,000,000.

Provided sales support and Program Management for Perot Systems Europe

assigned to BoI account. Key resource in first datacenter study that

identified solutions for nine major service outages. Resulted in

Perot Systems developing and delivering a much broader service

offering that led to discussions of a joint venture. Developed

quality assurance initiative that addressed deficiencies within

datacenter environment. Provided new levels of reliability,

availability, and serviceability for platforms supporting retail

banking application systems.

< Project manager and team lead for Perot in support of a quick

snapshot analysis of BoI current state (Service Delivery and

Solutions Delivery and Design) and developed recommendations

availability. Major outages as a result of unplanned system initial

program loads (IPLs) were reduced from 200 a month to zero in a month.

Schlafhorst, Technical Consultant

Developed PC based MVS performance analysis tool used to justify the

merger of two datacenters by identifying excess process/capacity.

Redesigned SNA based network to support contingency and cutover of

recovery resources.

EuropeCar, Technical Consultant

Conducted performance analysis of existing mainframe datacenters in

Hamburg and Paris. Software environments consisted of MVS/ESA, VM/XA,

VSE, and CICS. Led to significant reductions in software and hardware

costs while improving on-line transaction response times and system

maintainability. Consolidated and cutover multiple production and

testing images into two discrete environments, reducing operating

system overhead and storage requirements.

NationsBank, Technical Consultant

Technical consultant for business performance improvement team.

Analyzed mission critical banking applications and identified areas

where performance/runtime could be improved. Led standards design and

implementation team. Defined processing standards and product

selection for all NationsBank and Perot datacenters. Designed and

developed JCL conversion tools that greatly reduced risk and effort

required for migrating to new standards.

Responsible for large systems software support and development for all

EDS datacenters worldwide. This included platform definition and

construction, cutover planning, software modification development, and

level two support.

Senior Software Systems Engineer, MIL-80X Project Provided system

software planning, installation, and support for VM/SP HPO, RSCS,

PROFS, VTAM, NCP, and MVS/XA. Designed and developed tool used to

simulate terminal supplied transactions for purposes of load balancing

and performance tuning.

Systems Software Manager, Department of Energy Managed system

software and application support groups for the Department of Energy.

Provided support for operating systems, database, network software and

hardware, office automation, EPIC/JANUS, and publishing applications.

Responsible for budget exceeding $5,000,000, including software and

personnel budget for a staff of 75.

Senior Systems Software Engineer, AFCAC 270 Installed/customized

system software for live test and demonstration on U.S. Air Force
