EXPERIENCE: Twenty-Five years experience in the Project and Construction
Management field. I have specialized in the Commercial,
Industrial and Institutional, Construction Management and
General Contracting of projects. Additional experience
includes working as the right hand man for my father
Richard N. Yoe, Architect as Project Manager and Vice
President of his Architectural and Engineering firm, and
President of Marathon Management, Inc. a privately owned
Construction and Construction Management firm.
Responsibilities include management of the Design Process
working and directing scheduling and tracking the Architect
and Engineering Scope of work. Project Estimating, Project
Scheduling, Project Contracting and Project Management
Controls. I am proficient in the use of AIA Contract
documents. I am proficient in Managing a Project from
Concept thru Pre Constructions all Associated Planning,
Scheduling, Estimating and following a Project thru
Procurement, Construction, Occupancy, Post Construction and
Close Out. My responsibilities include the management of
people and the financial resources that are defined for
each division of construction making sure project are
completed on time and within budget. I have successfully
worked with Owners, across all levels as required and
enjoy the challenge this process brings. I have also
managed several large scale General Contractors in projects
in excess of 17 Million Dollars. I know construction and
building details extremely well as they relate to defined
scopes of work and the required sequencing it takes to
build buildings.
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
I have been in charge of managing mid
size to large-scale construction projects, coordinating
all processes from Pre Construction scope of work
developments, Scheduling, Estimating, and Project
Management. I am proficient in the Project Management,
Contract Management, Cost Management, Time Management,
Safety / Risk Management and Quality Management. I am
proficient in Timberline or Primavera. This type of work
has had me reporting to Owners, Executive Management, and
President and Vice President also interacting with Legal,
Real Estate Leasing and Management as well as all external
customers and professional consultants. I have developed
and maintained professional relationships with many
different Architects, Engineers and Contractors. I have
reviewed leases documents as they pertain to the owner's
development obligations ensuring that the owner's
responsibilities as outlined by their letter of intent are
being met. Reviewed the scope of work contained in these
letters of intent for each site and prepare construction
budgets and schedules. Manage all phases of the
construction bid process and award construction contracts.
Review and approve construction change orders where they
are required and warranted. Manage all contractors and all
consultants as required. travel to site and attend all
meeting from kick off, project monitoring threw final
review, project turn over, punch-list and project close
out.

I enjoy Traveling and Skiing with my
Daughters in many different States.
I am a Long Distance Runner and have
competed in Seventeen 26 miles Marathons and several Ultra-
Marathon's. Recent races that I have participated in
include all Eleven United States Air Force Marathons and
the Columbus Marathon - 1997 and 2000. I have participated
in Biathlons and have won awards on several occasions. I
recently completed the Boston Marathon. I was honored to
receive Top Ohioan Award at the Cleveland CVS Marathon
Relay in the Coed Division. I ran in the 2004 Boston
Marathon as a medic for a Cancer stricken friend who
successfully completed this event leaving me in his wake!
I enjoy working hard and helping
people. This is an important part of my everyday life.
