OBJECTIVE:
To obtain a Library Technician Position by using my experience
gained as the Weapons Department Publication Librarian while stationed
onboard the USS Simon Lake.
EXPERIENCE:
Seventeen years in the banking industry, with an emphasis on
preparation of loan documentation for commercial lending, compliance
training and auditing. Twenty years in the United States Navy as a Missile
Technician using technical documentation to perform daily job requirements.

Document Administrator
- Conducted the required due diligence (Corporate Good
Standing Search, UCC Search and Filing, obtaining required insurance,
engaging title companies, flood search, appraisals); prepared and sent to
closing agent commercial real estate and non-real estate loan
documentation.
- Trained new Document Administrators in the use of bank
specific computerized loan documentation programs.
- Assisted in the testing/development of bank specific loan
programs.
1991-1999 First National Bank Saint Marys, GA
Branch Manager/Banking Officer
- Oversaw daily operations of branch including personnel,
general ledger management, new client prospecting, credit analysis, product
sales, and consumer lending.
- As Compliance Officer, established audit program for federal
banking regulations on lending and operations. Completed approximately 30
annual audits and submitted reports to the Board of Directors, tracked
required deficiency corrections.
- Coordinated and presented annual regulation training.
Trained new and existing personnel on updated federal banking regulations.
- As Credit Card Administrator, balanced general ledger
accounts, processed new applications for personal credit cards and merchant
set-up. Performed collections as necessary.
- As Head /Vault Teller, prepared all incoming and out going
shipments of currency. Prepared all Suspicious Activity Reports and
Currency Transaction Reports when needed. Managed 7 tellers in daily
teller functions: cashing checks, selling money orders and cashiers
checks, processed deposits, loan payments, credit card payments and change
orders for businesses.

- Retired as a Chief Missile Technician, DD214 available upon
request. The following NECs are indications of the training received: 3315
- Missile and Missile Checkout Tech (Trident I Backfit SSBN) and 3313 -
Missile and Missile Checkout Tech (Poseidon SSBN).
- As Physical Security Construction Specialist at Strategic
Weapons Facility, Atlantic responsible for review of all construction plans
to ensure that physical security aspects of facilities have been addressed.
Planned and supervised corrections to existing buildings to meet security
requirements.
- Researched, developed and wrote the Preventative Maintenance
for High Security Padlocks used at the Strategic Weapons Facility,
Atlantic.
- Researched, purchased, planned and supervised placement
concrete barriers and drop arm barriers used throughout the Missile
Facility.
- Managed the repair of 5 miles of security fence that saved
the government in excess of $500,000.00.
- As Weapons Quality Assurance Inspector, responsible for
managing 6 personnel covering 2 Weapons divisions daily operations on board
the UCC Simon Lake and USS Canopus. Trained inspectors to properly
document the technical procedures necessary to prepare missiles for
transfer to and from submarines and re-supply ships.
- As Weapons Department Technical Publications Librarian on
board the USS Simon Lake, re-established the departmental library that had
been destroyed. Computerized a card catalog listing of over 6000 Weapons
Department technical manuals. Managed 6 divisional librarians in the daily
divisional responsibilities of installing changes to manuals and reporting
completions of changes. Maintained the computerized listing as required.
Supervised personnel who performed page check verifications of changes that
had been reported as installed.
- As Master Training Specialist at Naval Submarine Training
Center, Pacific, revised and updated training materials used in teaching
Missile Technician "C" School and Advanced Submarine Off Crew training.
- As Training Coordinator for Naval Submarine Training Center,
Pacific, responsible for planning Advanced Training Schedules for over 200
courses taught at the school command. This included training scheduled for
a foreign nation that involved extended class hours, 2 at sea periods,
traveling instructors and numerous laboratory training sessions.
- As Leading Petty Officer of the Missile Magazine on board the
USS Hunley, supervised the transfer, testing and maintenance of missiles
and missile testing equipment.
- Assembled, disassembled and tested missiles while stationed
at Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific.
