EMPLOYMENT
CJM Services (operating under Craig E. Murphy Enterprises, Inc.)
1998-Present: Owner/Operator
We specialize in the janitorial maintenance of medical facilities. Being the owner, I was in charge of daily operations,
book keeping, appointment setting, sales, human resources, and customer service. We provide a much needed service
to the specialty health care industry and perform our duties with an extreme attention to detail. At the height of this
business, we serviced over 15 medical facilities in the Marion County area and employed 4 full time and 12 part time
employees.
Shade Systems, Inc., 4150 SW 19th St., Ocala, FL 34474: 352-***-****
3/2009 – 9/2009: Welder
I was a welder and metal fabricator for a national outdoor deco shade manufacturer. The products were made for large
city organizations, private organizations, and theme parks. My duties included the fabricating and welding of all metal
structural parts. It was an autonomous position, where I was responsible for getting my own work orders, fabricating
and welding all parts to engineering blue prints, ensuring my own quality of work, and keeping up with the fast paced
demand of production schedule.
Winco, Inc., 5516 SW 1st Lane, Ocala, FL, 34474: 352-***-****
2006 – 2009: Production Supervisor / Robot and CNC Technician
I was the department head for the Welding and Robot Welding departments as well as the Woodshop supervisor. I was
responsible for the programming and maintenance of the robot welding machines, plus ensuring that all manual weld
jobs were set up properly, first piece inspected, and that all weld manufacturing procedures were done correctly and
efficiently to ISO 9001-2000 specifications. I was also responsible for programming, maintenance and/or consultation
of all CNC machines in the manufacturing plant: Upholstery Cutter, Wood Router, and Edge Banding Machine.
Another aspect of my duties was creating and maintaining a "continuous improvement" environment for these areas by
implementing new and creative ways to perform our operations more efficiently. I was responsible for a crew of up to
24 employees at one time. My duties included staff scheduling, annual reviews, delegation of responsibilities, and
building a successful team to achieve our daily, monthly, and annual manufacturing goals.
Salvation Cycle Works (operating under Craig E. Murphy Enterprises, Inc.)
2000-2006: Owner/Operator
This is a hobby/business which turned into a small manufacturing enterprise. We specialized in manufacturing one-off,
hand -made custom motorcycles and motorcycle parts. From 2001 - 2004 we experienced our largest growth in sales
adding 7 full time employees and 1 part time employee, achieving over $1 million in sales each of those years. I
consistently applied myself to develop and engineer new products as well as new ways to make our operations as lean,
efficient, and profitable as possible.
