Design Engineer position
During my tenure I was responsible for the design and retrofit of automotive assembly line
machinery and equipment. I utilized advanced CAD modeling techniques to integrate a new
product into existing assembly line machinery and process footprint. I generated cost effective
solutions to daily design challenges. My duties included 3D model and 2D drawing generation,
BOM generation and management, assembly analysis and component research and specification.

Tenure included constant promotion from original position as CAD Technician/Designer to
Design Project Manager/Supervisor. Duties include project management, customer service
liaison, cost and timing estimation, manpower supervision and team building, 3D model and 2D
drawing generation, data and bill of materials (BOM) management, issues tracking, APQP, FEA
interpretation, project quality/checking. Fluency in most major CAD programs including CATIA
V4 & V5, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Inventor. I have had major exposure to
product development and cost effective manufacturability, GD&T, product lifecycle management
(PLM) design techniques.

I was responsible for “cradle to grave” machining of precision metal and plastic components for
the metal forming industry. I am highly versed in the operation of all major manual machine
