. Monitor database log files, data block corruption, segment
fragmentation, performance issues, security threats, and contention
issues (deadlocks, I/O, memory, CPU, etc.) (using Session Browser
Monitor - Provided by TOAD application).
. Recover databases as necessary.
. Manage and maintain high volume transactional tables and indexes.
. Use Data Guard to create physical and logical databases.
