WORK EXPERIENCE:

2008-2012 Vice President Facilities Quality Technology Service:

Responsible for 10 geographically separated data centers and facility teams comprised of 52 personnel

encompassing over 3.1 million square feet in 6 states. As V.P. Facilities defined, developed organized, initiated, lead

and managed the facilities department for the company. Including, hiring critical key personnel and staff,

development of standardized organization, best in class operating procedures of all disciplines for facility,

development, infrastructure maintenance preservation and customer care requirements. Defined, developed,

implemented QTS maintenance management, energy conservation, operating and development budgets, national

service provider agreements, training and safety programs, and code compliance initiatives. Played key role in

direct project management, design, project development and company growth plans. Operating budgets developed

and managed in excess of $50mm. Most recently direct executive management of the Suwannee and Metro data

centers Metro being 1,000,000 sq/ft the second largest data center in the US.

2007 – 2008 Regional Engineering Director CB Richard Ellis (BofA Mid-South Region):

Regional Engineering Director responsible for maintenance, repair and operation of 15 critical financial data center

sites in a five state regional area. Managing 2.9 million square feet of critical data processing and commercial

facility infrastructure. Managing and supervising a staff of 32 geographically separated engineering personnel.

Utilizing Engineering managers, Sr. Chief Engineers, responsible for 29 engineering, operations, and project

management personnel.

2007 Data Center Project Manager (AT&T):

Inglett and Stubbs/Technical Service (Atlanta GA)

Project Manager responsible for data center/critical site operations management, site and infrastructure

improvements, construction, maintenance and repair.

1999 - 2007 Operations Manager, Jones Lang LaSalle (Coca-Cola Co. Atlanta GA and Houston TX):

Regional responsibility managed the Coca-Cola Company World Headquarters facilities and project management in

Atlanta, Georgia and Houston, Texas - over 3.1 million square feet of office, 3 critical data centers, and research

facilities with annual budget of $24 million. Responsible for 50+ engineering, maintenance operations, and project

management personnel. Designed and implemented utility/energy conservation plans resulting in double-digit

energy savings (22% in Atlanta, 26% in Houston). Developed operating and energy management systems,

emergency procedures, code compliance systems, and safety programs which were then defined as Best Practices

throughout Jones Lang LaSalle. Trained auditor for Jones Lang LaSalle. Received Jones Lang LaSalle Sigma

Award for Engineering Operations Excellence 2005.

1996 - 1999 Superintendent Georgia Dome (Atlanta GA)

Responsible for all facility management planning and execution of all engineering operations, project management,

maintenance and repairs and event conversions for The Georgia Dome, an 11 acre sports, convention and

entertainment complex including seamless conversion and operation of the facility during the 1996 Summer

Olympic Games. Directed a staff of 7 supervisors and 85+ engineering and conversion personnel augmented by up

to 325 temporary staff on a routine basis. Developed energy savings programs that resulted in 33% annual

reduction in utilities.

1994 - 1996 Chief Engineer Hall Wood Management Company (Atlanta GA)

Responsible for facility management and maintenance of 1.5 million square feet in 36 commercial office buildings

and 70 acres at Executive Park and Corporate Square in Atlanta. Supervised 2 Assistant Chief Engineers and 16

engineering personnel. Designed and executed software systems that aggregated energy usage across 36 buildings,

resulting in annual reduction of 45% in electric expense. Performed project management for numerous renovation

and new construction projects.

1989-1994 Chief Engineer, Cousins Properties Inc. (Atlanta GA)

Property management responsible for development and continuous operation of One Ninety One Peachtree Tower

in Downtown Atlanta - a 50-story Class A office building. Member of the project management team that

constructed the building. Subsequently developed and implemented a major energy conservation program that

resulted in 65% reduction in energy expense. Received the 1994 Building Owners & Management Association’s

“Building of the Year Award” for buildings of over 500,000 square feet.

1987-1989 General Manager, Natkin Service Company (Atlanta GA)

Responsible for sales & marketing, project management, and service of commercial, institutional and industrial

HVACR/MEP systems with annual sales revenue of $12 million. Supervised 28+ sales, technical and administrative

personnel.

1985-1987 Manager – Preventative Maintenance, Georgia State University (Atlanta GA)

Property management, responsible for 12 million square foot campus encompassing 21 office, classroom, and
