throughout the country on a multi-line phone in the reference lab
* Gave test results and used investigational and problem solving skills to
locate labs to do esoteric tests and procure specimens in our labs to add
additional tests
* Used Antrim and Sunquest custom computer systems
* Dispatched couriers, determining whether a pickup should be routine or
stat
* Faxed results, mailed missed reports, and obtained missing billing
information from clients
Medical Technologist (1993-1995)
* Answered all incoming calls to the blood bank, taking orders and entering
them into one of two systems
* Prepared requested products including thawing, pooling, filtering,
irradiation, and formation of aliquots
* Unpacked all incoming products and entered into computer inventory

process surgical salvage, pumps, and saline wash blood
