Assist sustainability committee in developing tracking methods,

measurements, and targets designed to increase sustainability of

internal agency operations. Position requires communication with

departments and agencies throughout the state of Oregon. This

position has a strong focus on solid waste conservation and

environmental justice. Developed a sustainability report for agency

geared to increase efficiency, and decrease cost of internal

operations through the Natural Step program.

Waste Conservation Specialist and Project Coordinator

Coordinated the Recycle at School program funded by Metro. This

program provides educational outreach and technical assistance focused

on waste conservation and sustainability to K-12 schools in the tri-

county region. Provided hands on assistance at all levels including

parents. Position requires event planning, public speaking,

quantitative tracking, as well as monthly and bi-annual reporting.

Worked with a multitude of schools with diverse student bodies and

extra curricular services to students and assisted in programs geared

towards retention and mentorship. Assisted event coordinator with
