Helped with Hvac, Plumber, Electrician, Mechanic, and Grounds Crew to help with daily maintenance of the

Worked on General Contractor side of metal steel framed company. Oversee of all trades on the jobsite. Took
pictures of job, daily reports, meetings, talking with subs over jobs. Worked with employees to try to make
company better. Jobs were mostly commercial jobs.

2007 Rockford Construction (Grand Rapids, MI)
Worked on Family Video stores in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Met with subcontractors to get bids.
Completed two week look ahead, weekly progress reports, daily reports, and daily photos of jobsite. Did
toolbox talks for safety meetings on jobsite, went over plans with subcontractors. Worked on expense reports
for jobs. Worked under another superintendent that was training me. Jobs were mostly commercial jobs.

2004-2007 Wolf Construction (West Des Moines, IA)
I was involved in almost every aspect of residential construction. I gained more experience in this position to
add to my vast knowledge of building trades. I was roofing, siding, framing, and doing flatwork in new
residential homes. Worked on home show houses. Did tear off roofs and tear off siding jobs. Put in windows,
doors, and hung vinyl siding. Worked with pre-painted siding. Hung seamless gutter and downspouts. Did
commercial jobs as well. Did snow removal in the winter when it snowed, worked with bobcats. Worked at
wall panel plant that put out 2,000 lineal feet of walls a day.

I built cedar log furniture alongside another designer. I was involved in every aspect of the furniture
assembly. We cut down cedar trees with chainsaws; power washed, sanded, and finished them. Crafted
original pieces of log furniture. We put together various types of log pieces including: chairs, benches, tables,
decks, and hand rails. I was responsible for budgeting my time wisely and getting orders done on a deadline.

1997-2002 Morton Buildings (Morton, IL)
I was promoted from Lead Man to Foreman. We framed high quality wood framed pole barns. Hung trusses,
framed, roofed, put in windows and walk doors, and big metal sliding doors. I drove tractor/trailer and had
CDL license. I was involved in every aspect of the building construction from start to finish. I was
responsible for a crew and assigned daily duties. Took care of time cards and paperwork for jobs.
Carpenter
1996-1997 V. Morris Construction (Keosauqua, IA)
Member of a crew that framed and worked on residential homes. I hung vinyl siding, hung trusses, ran
plywood, put in windows, doors, and insulation. We installed all of the plumbing and electrical aspects of the
homes. We did flatwork, sidewalks, re-roofs, and new roofing. We also remodeled pre-existing homes and
buildings. We also installed drywall, did trim work, built decks, and garages.
Form Carpenter
1993-1996, 1997 Laffoon and Company (Carlisle, IA)
Worked on a crew pouring basement walls for residential homes and industrial buildings. We stripped and
poured walls daily. We patched leaks and I also worked on footings. We tarred, tiled, and graveled basements.
I worked independently on many aspects of the jobs.
Carpenter
1991-1992, 1995 Paul Kisling Construction (Keosauqua, IA)
Worked for this company during the summer while in high school. We completed all aspects of construction
from basements to roofs, and the interior of houses. We roofed, framed, put in windows and doors. We
completed finish work and trim work. Installed heating and cooling. Replaced sewer lines in town. Did
basement walls and flatwork such as driveways and sidewalks. Built garages and decks.
