Directed one of six franchise regions with 120+ franchisees operating 400+ stores in six southeastern states.

• Headed the Southeast region with duties including: franchise relations, operational evaluations, training,

new franchisee selection, communication and “selling” of new programs or processes, renewals, new store

builds, store purchases and store relocations. Responsible for two-way communication of changes, programs,

processes or new equipment/technology.

Domino’s Pizza, based in Ann Arbor, MI, is the world leader in pizza delivery since inventing and perfecting

the category in the early 1960’s. Domino’s was owned by founder Tom Monaghan until 1998 when it was sold

to Bain Capital. Domino’s operates over 7000 units with both corporate and franchised locations.

Regional Director, Atlanta, Georgia 1999 - 2000

Directed one of six franchise regions with over 180 franchisees operating 67 0 stores in six southeastern states.

• Achieved greatest percentage sales growth increase through October 2000 (as much as 4%+ above other

regions) – due in part to “Swing-Challenge” I conceived that was adopted nationally.

• Rewrote Domino’s Pizza’s beverage standard, which increased profitability & flexibility for franchisees.

• Led regional “Smart Store Project” initiative to generate an increase in franchise stores growth both short

term and long term and surpassed regional budget goals for store growth during this period.

• Directed an office and field staff of 12 and guided them through a company restructure.

Franchising, Incentives, Store Evaluation, Relocation & Re-Image.

• Achieved “Highest Net Store Growth” in three of five year period (1995, 1996 and 1998).

• Led franchise operations team that increased “Total Sales” from $334.8 million to over $536.1 million

during this period (an increase of over 60%).

• Developed the national “Consultant of the Year” winner an unprecedented three consecutive times in

1997, 1998 and 1999 (and even after leaving for years 2000 and 2002).

• Headed franchisee selection process and was responsible for franchise contract enforcement including

franchise agreement default, default cure and termination process.

• Implemented initiatives, including a “Swing Challenge” sales incentive, which enabled the SE Region to

be the first region to surpass three national. Average Weekly Unit Sales milestones. “Swing Challenge” sales

incentive was later adopted as a national promotion.

• Conceived most profitable fund raising idea for Domino’s Pizza Partners Foundation in 1998.

• Oversaw the franchise application process (125 to 175 applications per year) including single and multi-

unit store builds, purchases and relocations for new franchisees as well as multi-unit franchise operators.

• Conceived and then co-developed Domino's Pizza’s “Fundamentals of Finance” class which was

implemented as part of the company’s comprehensive training program for franchisees.

• Increased franchise consultant involvement in franchise marketing co/ops and DMAs which resulted in:

activation of additional co/ops, record franchise participation in co/ops, highest “active markets” in the

country, highest spending levels and record sales.

• Helped initiate the company’s comprehensive store image overhaul called “Image 2000”.

• Developed regional site approval procedures that were instrumental in ensuring the success of new units

and the reduction of store closures.

• Implemented and oversaw record setting Royalty and Advertising collections.

• Created the first comprehensive Franchise Consultant training program.
