I am currently a graduate student at the University of Louisiana with
a December 2010 expected graduation date. I am pursuing job
opportunities in the Baton Rouge area due to my interest in relocating

Co-researcher for 4th Judicial District case management project
. Currently co-writing proposal for a case management study brought
to the Social Science Research Lab by 4th Judicial District Judge
and LA Supreme Court
. Project is going to be established to determine how long a
traditional felony case (adult) takes from sentencing to completion
and compare this to national average
. We will also take a look at what the time frame consists of and
will try to see if there are certain variables that slow cases
down, i.e. case resets, no shows, case complexity, certain
judges/attorneys, etc.

Research Associate with the University of Massachusetts Worcester
. Trained on using new instrument (SAVRY) that measured potential
risk of violence in juveniles in the juvenile justice system
. Entered data on 300 pre-SAVRY and 300 SAVRY cases to be compared to
measure recidivism and thus measuring the effectiveness of the
SAVRY
. Assisted in calculating reliability scores by sitting in on
juvenile interviews and filling out SAVRY
