Second Foreman Journeyman Electrician December, 2006 to November, 2007
Larson Electric (Division of API Electric) Fridley, Minnesota
. Gander Mountain. Worked as a second foreman for the construction of a
Gander Mountain in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Responsible for managing the
crew and the installation of all lighting, as well as installation of
electrical in retail support offices.
. Verizon Wireless. Personally responsible for completing installation of
a 6000 amp service and back-up generator for new corporate headquarters
located in Bloomington, Minnesota.
. Spring Lake Park Elementary School. Part of team that worked on the
remodeling of the gymnasium and brining the classrooms up-to-date from an
electrical stand-point. Also installation of a new back-up generator for
the school.
. Marriott City Center. Assisted in the $20 million renovation of
restaurant, bar, and convention area. Included new lighting, data
systems, and electrical emergency (back-up) systems.
. J & B Meats. Helped to complete the new 30 plus door loading dock.
Personally responsible for pulling all power and electrical control
systems for the doors and trailer capturing systems. Also responsible
for security installation.
Journeyman Electrician November, 2006 to December, 2006
API Electric Hibbing, Minnesota
. An explosion in a steel mill required an emergency crew to be place in
Hibbing, Minnesota for a time of one month to get the steel mill back in
operation. The job was very labor intensive as we were required to pull
PVC coated cable. Underwent special mine safety training.
Journeyman Electrician July, 2006 to November, 2007
Nitro Electric Omaha, Nebraska
. Employed as part of a large crew that assisted in the construction of a
new 90 mega watt power plant. Part of a specialized cable pulling crew.
Nitro Electric is no longer in operation.
Foreman May, 2000 to October, 2005
Mendota Electric Eagan, Minnesota
Managed small to large scale commercial projects, with crew sizes between
two and thirty electricians. Key projects include the following,
. Minneapolis South High School. General Foreman for HVAC and lighting
refurbishing for the entire school including a complete remodel of the
kitchen facilities. Supervised a crew of 30 employees and 2
subcontractors. Year long project.
. Prior Lake High School. Foreman for complete electrical refurbishing of
the entire school. Supervised a crew of 3 employees.
. Maple Grove High School. Foreman for the electrical work required to
complete the addition of two wings for the High School, including three
classrooms, the fitness center, and theater. Supervised a crew of 1
employee and one subcontractor. Year long project.
. Minneapolis Public Housing Senior Center. Foreman for the addition of a
food shelf addition to the Senior Center as well as a complete remodeling
of the kitchen. The quality of the work completed led to additional
projects secured for Mendota Electric, including the remodeling of a
number of senior apartments. Supervised a crew of 1 employee. Four
month long project.
. Minneapolis Public Housing Authority. Remodeling of some public housing
units and the main office headquarters. Supervised a crew of 1 employee.
Six month long project.
. Bishop Henry Whipple Building. General Foreman for a $3,000,000 fire
alarm installation. A highly technical project in a very secure area,
all of the employees under my supervision had to pass strict security
background checks in order to work on the project. Tenants of the
building included the Department of Veteran Affairs, the Department of
Defense. Supervised a crew of 5 employees and two subcontractors.
