Professional Responsibilities

Manage Operation of two homemade embossers that produced Holographic film for packaging and diffusers for

electronic devise screens;

Responsible for Safety, Quality, Training, Production and Discipline, in both union and nonunion environments.

Managed up to 60 hourly and 3 shift supervisors, Printing, Die Cutting, Gluing, Warehousing and Shipping of

folding cartons. Printing, Die Cutting Rewinding, Boxing, Warehousing and shipping of Various Adhesive Labels.

Printing Pre-printed Liner for Corrugated cartons. Wide web Flexible packaging, rewinding and bag machine.

Responsible for inventories of Label roll stock, Boxes, Dies, Printing Plates and other supplies. Folding carton roll

stock, Impression roller, Inks, Varnishes and Packaging cartons.

Working with Scheduling and Graphics to help get better workflow for improved production.

Exemplary Achievements

Setup a recycle program for metalized polyester film and used corrugated. Resulting in a savings of $4,000 per year.

Improved production and quality through training, planning and better scheduling of common dies, inks, materials,

and gang running jobs, we were able to reduce setup time on average by over .2 hrs. Producing 240 jobs per day. Do

to elevated sales and production the company has increased sales from $30,000,000 to $50,000,000 a year, in two

years;

Set a schedule for preventive maintenance program and changed Impression roller supplier, with better rollers that

did not wear as fast as old rubber roller. Saving generated from less down time and less cost for recovering rollers

$180,000 per year.

Worked off over 30,000 lbs. of old ink inventory at a saving of over $120,000 at one location. Worked off over

80,000 lbs. of old ink inventory at a savings of $330,000 at another location and over 2000 lbs. of old ink inventory

at a savings over $8,000 in 6 months, at my last job. I have worked with solvent, water and UV inks.

Improved production from 14,000,000 square feet per month to over 38,000,000 square feet per month, through

better scheduling, training of crews on color matching and how to get jobs in register faster.

Received a Silver Star Award for helping develop a process to print and die cut Oscar Mayer Bacon Maravac material

in line all in one process. Old process was to print cartons and then die cut on a separate machine, double the time

and labor.

Received a Golden Cylinder Award from the GAA for the Black and Decker Weed eater carton.
