June 1995 to Present - Promarc

Designed and built engineering fixtures and test equipment for Cisco

Systems, Hewlett Packard, Infinera, Brocade Communications and many others.

Electrical/Electronics -

Designed PC board layout with serial communications in an R&D environment.

Tested circuits and logged data to confirm proper design rules. Made parts

list for qualification and purchased parts for the design. Used RJ45

connectors with pass thru lines to download data from the device being

tested. Used coil type and solid state relays for high current switching.

Designed and tested electrical systems for the control of industrial

heating ovens. Used Watlow industrial programmable controllers allows

programming for fast rise time and PID algorithms for sustained

temperatures.

Manufacturing Experience -

Advanced Micro Devices, 1979 to 1981

Test manager, responsible for meeting production schedule of microprocessor

based CPU boards. Responsible for 15 technicians and 6 support staff. Wrote

test and workflow procedures. Kept constant communications with production

control to insure we had no shortages.

National Semiconductor -

Test manager, responsible for meeting production schedule of memory and

control based boards. Responsible for 25 technicians and 12 support staff.

Re- wrote test programs to improve production thru put and increase

productivity.
