A commercial GC specializing in the construction of Hilton and Doubletree hotels.
Charged with supervising the overall construction process, from clearing and grubbing to customer
orientation and turnover, managed job site safety, conducted weekly sub meetings, scheduled all
construction activities, maintained job site documentation, organized plans and specifications, scheduled
inspections as needed, researched change orders and RFI’s, reviewed contract scopes and
specifications, studied plans to ensure proper construction.
Prepared the baseline critical milestone schedule utilizing Sure-Track.
I was used primarily to close jobs on-time after they had fallen behind schedule. I was successful on
two separate occasions, bringing my last project back from 53 days behind.
Initiated company specific daily report format to maximize efficiency.

Responsible for the over-all construction and profitability of commercial construction projects. Trained
and directed newly hired staff, managed safety compliance, directed our adherence to local and federal
SWPPP guidelines, oversaw the punch process, reported our project process to the home office daily,
managed the subcontractor staff and scheduling responsibilities.
Spearheaded a “punch as we go” initiative to minimize punch items compiling at the end of the
project.
Reported all daily activities utilizing Constructware.
Maintained job site documentation.
Supervised as many as 120 subs daily on a single job site.
Worked with the accounting department to develop a more thorough means of tracking purchase
orders and job site expenses. We were able to reduce the “miscellaneous” expenses on three
projects by $143, 000.00

SUPERINTENDENT/QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
David Meadows Development 01/1993 to 06/2003
Bimini Bay resort is a vacation community located in Davenport, Florida. The developer, David
Meadows, was also the builder. This property was an on-going development, turned over in phases as
dictated by our schedule. In fact we had 2 locations, which began with Island Club West, also in
Davenport. In addition to apartments, the properties had a total of 10 swimming pools, 10 club-houses, 1
small movie theatre, a small water park, a 9 hole golf course. The apartments range from 800 sq/ft 1
bedrooms to 1600 sq/ft 3 bedroom units. I began as a quality control inspector for MEP’s. I moved on to
supervise the MEP installation and scheduling process. From there I eventually became a
Superintendent. I served as superintendent for 7 of the 10 years before moving to May Construction.
My responsibilities consisted of scheduling, budget and check approval, quality control, daily reports,
inventory, SWPPP compliance, OSHA compliance, safety compliance, and much more.
Led the county in accident prevention and reduced workman’s compensation costs by 30%.
Promoted to Construction Superintendent in 1996.
Enhanced departmental workflow and work product quality through training.
Implemented new inspection techniques which reduced manpower and saved the company significant
dollars while achieving better quality.
Achieved optimal outcomes in construction by recognizing and correcting potential problems with the
