Employment

2010 - Currently doing Massage Therapy and drum instruction @ home.

2010 - Domino's Pizza delivery driver and CSR

2008/'09 - Interned at a chiropractic clinic in Andover before gaining

self-employment as a Massage Therapist at Kool Kutz Salon at 10051 W 21st

St. in Wichita.

2008 - Executive Office Cleaning, LLC; worked here a few months while

attending Heritage College. General cleaning duties: vacuum, blinds,

tables, dust, bathrooms, mopping, floor buffing, etc.

2007 - Domino's Pizza [316-***-****] - delivery driver and CSR

2006 - Worked for Fiber Care out of Goddard, KS. Traveled to various

locations on the East coast and through the midwest cleaning hotel AC's,

carpet, showers, tile floors, chairs and drapes.

2005/'06 - Worked for John Bianco [316-***-****] as laborer/job site

cleanup. John works for Bianco Construction. I performed various tasks

as directed including but not limited to: trash pickup, garage cleanup

(i.e. sweeping and organizing), sweeping out framed houses and basements

(repeat when necessary), form pulling (poured, dry driveways, etc.),

power washing.

2005 - Worked for The Holland Group [918-***-****] at the Whirlpool

facility outside of Owasso, OK. I performed duties on an assembly line

that fabricated ranges. I moved to Oklahoma to live with my cousin and

find good work. Holland Group ran an ad that said "1st or 2nd shifts

available" so I applied and got the job. I asked for second shift, but

was put on second (5:30 pm - 3:30 am). I worked there only one and

weeks because I was not able to sleep around the second shift hours.

2004/'05 - Worked for Executive Office Cleaning L.L.C. [316-***-****]

as a general office cleaner. I worked up to a supervisory position in

under one year as I was in charge of the people cleaning Rusty Eck Ford

on E. Kellogg. I achieved a better floor look by using an auto-scrubber

supplied by Rusty Eck that was not being used correctly. My supervisor,

Mike McHenry 316-***-****, was very impressed with my progress. With

my help and guidance, the building really took on a look that said

"clean." I worked very hard in this position having people quit on me

left and right because of the work involved. I quit this job because of

my supervisor. My instructions were never accurate and my team was being

neglected during times that seemed to me important. Also, the 3rd shift

hours became a burden because I was not able to sleep.

2003 - Worked for Saltbox Primitive Signs [316-***-****] as a general

helper. This company was home-based and have since moved their location

from the time of my employment. We made wood signs with sayings on them

look old and worn; it was quite an involved process. Here are some of the

12 steps: I helped paint, waterproof, package, send, sand and stain wood

planks that were formed in their garage with saws and routering machine

(which I also did), took inventory of supplies, brain-stormed with owner

about new ideas to help production become easier and more efficient, and

even fixed their sander because I'm a handy man to have around!

2003 - Worked for Country Mart [620-***-****] as a stocker/bagger

while attending Cowley College in Arkansas City. I performed all the

necessary duties to ensure that the company wasn't lacking in anything:

sack and carry groceries to cars, stock shelves and straighten, help with

closing duties, sweep entire floor once a week, take out trash when it

was my turn, rotate food and change displays, keep stock room situated

and tidy, etc.

Qualifications

I've spent my entire life around animals, mainly canines, always having a

pet from the time I was little. Others pets I've "owned" are birds,

rabbits and a gerbil. I aspired to be a veterinarian when I was young and

my love of animals has carried into my adult life. Being around animals is

like a second being to me; first there's life, then there's animals! I get

along very well with any breed, kingdom, phylum, whatever it may be, we get

along. My childhood involved visiting my grandparents' farm near St. John,

KS. I spent time with my grandpa, helping feed the cows and harvesting,

good times! My work ethic is above average, love being busy and I am

completely reliable. Having been through an Anatomy and Physiology course

while attending Heritage College, I learned quite a bit about the inside of

the body, how it works and how organs perform. I think this information

would be handy around animals. If a medical emergency were to arise I

would at least have an idea of what is going on in the animals body or if

given instruction to help. Eventhough an animal's body is organized a bit

different than a human body, my knowledge would be helpful.

If anything would need to be fixed or improved, I enjoy "handy man" work

and have done some in the past. For my grandpa I installed a full-sized

bath/shower door; all the cutting, caulking, etc. I installed carpet in

two of his rooms, doing all the cutting, measuring, etc. I've put together

numerous around-the-house items: i.e. bookshelves, desks, TV cabinets.

I've hung light fixtures which involved working with electric wires; making

sure what goes where.

I've had lots of jobs in the past but would like to inform you that I plan

on staying with my next job, especially if it would involve animals that

are treated humanely; it would be a dream, honestly. I can't imagine doing

anything more fun than working with animals.

Thanks for your consideration!
