SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
Over forty years of engineering experience, more than fifteen years in lead
positions, in the areas of research and development, design and
application, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of rotating equipment
systems. Background includes engineering experience with four major
engineering and construction firms, two major manufacturers of turbo-
machinery, and five major users within the petroleum, petrochemical and
power generation industries. Spectrum of machinery experience includes

Trouble Shooting of Seawater Intake Pump vibration problems at YLNG's LNG
Facility in Yemen - units involved three Electric Motor Drivers, each
driving a Flowserve Vertical pump rated at approx. 1 mw.(Note; this was
completed as a consultant to my old company KBR after my retirement in July
of 2009).

Senior Principle Machinery Technology
Responsible for all aspects of machinery technology including
specification, bid evaluation and selection, performance testing
troubleshooting and commissioning of rotating equipment systems. Required
to plan and co-ordinate machinery work for major projects. Directs
personnel to achieve project objectives.
Assignments include:
. Commissioning, Startup, and Trouble shooting of Ammonia Refrigerant,
Primary Process Air and Syn-Gas Centrifugal Compressors, Ammonia Screw
type Compressors, Steam Turbine Drivers, Forced and Induced Draft Fan

Transfer, and Benfield Solution for Egyptian Basic Industries Corporation

. Feed and Specification of Compressors, Gas Turbines, Motors, Pumps and
Liquid Ring Compressors for CO2 sequestering and CO2 reinjection at
Santos facilities in Moomba, and Tirawarra Australia. Work was conducted
at KBRs' Adelaide Australia Facility
. Specification for all rotating equipment for NLNGs' Train 7 and 8 LNG
liquefaction plant at Bonny Island Nigeria. Each of these being capable
of delivering 8 million tons per year of LNG - the largest in the world.
Work conducted at KBRs' MWKL London Facility
. Erection and commissioning of mixed refrigerant and propane compressor
Trains for Nigeria LNG in Bonny Island. Equipment included GE Frame 7
driven axial and centrifugal compressor strings, GE Frame 6 driven
Generator strings, Liquid expanders, Motor driven Flash Gas and Chiller
compressors. Surge Testing, FFT vibration analysis and Baseline
signatures for all gas turbine and motor driven compressor trains. -
NLNG's Expansion Project - LNG Trains 6.
. Senior Principal Engineer assigned to KBR's MWKL Offices to develop Front
End Engineering Design (FEED) for the major rotating equipment items
associated with Trains 7 and 8 at NLNG's Bonny Island Facility. Each
train to be designed to produce 8.5 to 9.0 million tons per annum -
making it the largest in the world. Major rotating equipment include
eight GE Frame 7 driven compressor trains using variable speed
starter/helper motors, four GE Frame 9 driven generator trains, eight
cryogenic liquid expander/generator trains, Two End Flash Gas compressor
Trains using variable speed drive motors, Four Expander/Compressor
trains.
Front End Engineering Design (Feed) for OKLNG - Salient feature being the
development of the propane compression process to suit three side stream
propane compressor for Frame 9 drive.

Trains for Nigeria LNG in Bonny Island. Equipment included GE Frame 7
driven axial and centrifugal compressor strings, GE Frame 6 driven

NLNG's Expansion Project - LNG Trains 4 and 5
. Assigned to MWKL in London (August 2003 to May 2004) to conduct Shop
mechanical, performance, and full load full speed string tests for Frame
7 driven mixed refrigerant and compressor strings and Motor driven End
Flash Gas compressor strings. Equipment intended for NLNG's Trains 4 and
5 LNG complex in Bonny Island Nigeria. Testing conducted at Nuovo
Pignone's facilities in Italy (Florence and Massa), and Siemens
facilities in Germany.
. Erection and commissioning of mixed refrigerant and propane compressor
Trains for Nigeria LNG in Bonny Island. Equipment included Frame 7
driven axial and centrifugal compressor combination, and Frame 6 driven
centrifugal compressor. Surge Testing, FFT vibration analysis and
Baseline signatures for all gas turbine and motor driven compressor
trains. - NLNG's Expansion Project - LNG Train 3
. Specification and evaluation of an Air Compression string driven by a
General Electric Frame 7 Gas turbine rated at 82.0 MW for an Air
Separation Plant associated with Methanex's Methanol plant located in
Western Australia.
. Commissioning and trouble shooting six General Electric LM6000 driven
Generator strings site rated at 45MW for Commonwealth Chesapeake's power
plant at New Church Virginia. Four of these strings included SSS 260T
synchronizing clutches to enable generating and condensing mode
operation.
. Trouble shooting three Solar Mars Driven Compression strings at Shell's
Obigbo, Agbada, and Imo River gas plants located near Port Harcourt
Nigeria.
. Debottlenecking Feed Package for Qatar Liquefied Gas Company's LNG
facility in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. Primary task being the up-
grading of fifteen existing compressor trains to accommodate gas turbine
up-rate from the current MS5382(C) version to the MS5432(D) level. The
intent being to increase LNG production by approximately 30%.
. Resident Engineer in Nuovo Pignone's Florence Facility for monitoring
Compressors and Gas Turbines relating to Petronas's Tiga LNG Plant and
Nigeria LNG 's third train in Bonny Island.
. Erection and commissioning of mixed refrigerant and propane compressor
Trains for Nigeria LNG in Bonny Island. Equipment included Frame 7
driven axial and centrifugal compressor combination, and Frame 6 driven
centrifugal compressor. Surge Testing, FFT vibration analysis and

trains. - NLNG's Base Project - LNG Trains 1 and 2.
. Resident Engineer at Dresser-Rand's Olean New York Facility for
monitoring manufacture and testing of Two Frame 7 driven Mixed
Refrigerant compression strings and Two Frame 6 driven Propane

. Project specification for Oman LNG project. Primary area being General
Electric Frame 7 and Frame 6 driven axial and centrifugal compressors,
and generators.
. Engineering Proposal for Snohvit LNG project. Principally concerned with
feasibility of LM 6000 in mechanical drive application.
. Injection facility for Sonarco. Primary area being development of the GE
Frame 5 Model D for injection compressor drive.
. Project Specification Rewrite for Nigeria LNG Project in favor of the
APCI process. Primary area being rotating equipment. In particular
Frame 7 and Frame 6 driven axial and centrifugal compression equipment,
and generators.
