DALE L. BABB

DECATUR, IL.
OBJECTIVE;
To obtain a position in Operations Management to utilize appropriate
methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team
and facilitate the completion of a team . With all standards due to achieve
taking a business to the next level.
Qualifications and Experience:
My experience is that of a Corporate Operations Department Specialist. I
lead an operations department in control of over 415 locations nationwide. I
traveled 45 weeks a year .
I was involved in the basic training of Corporate, Local, City, State and
Federal guidelines and the implementation of such. My job called on me to
Take control of a location and implement such guidelines, but not limited to
knowing and implementing OSHA, MATERIAL DATA SAFETY
GUIDELINES and control Employee Performance updates. On a given
week I would be involved in safety issues, maintenance issues and employee
training guidelines.
I later would take over employee motivational tactics, marketing strategies
and part time training department. I also held the title of lead Corporate
Developer where I would continuously monitor P&L statements, Employee
performance and H.R reports along with my regularly duties.
I have also been involved with the transportation and processing of corn,
soybeans and feed products. My family has both a Transportation company
and Farms. I know the system of front door delivery to moisture %control to
warehousing to sale and back to delivery. I have been involved with the
maintenance of machinery, hands on in most aspects of the business, to little
things of just clearing and freeing up auger in below zero weather. To this
day I still hold an active Class A CDL.
“a quick note”:
I enjoy working with people, I take a lot of pride in my skills in Employee
relations, coaching and motivational techniques. One of the greatest points
in my tenure in Business Operations was the chance to spend over 2 years
side by side with the owner of our fortune 500 corporation. The chance to
absorb some of the unique style he had that built it from home to now, and to
control over 200 corporate people, 500 plus franchisee’s and over 5000 of
their employees. I literally got to see how and why he made different
decisions or implementations, the start and finish results of employee
programs, initiatives and his day to day reasoning of what works and what
doesn’t. He took me out of a training class I was teaching one day and in the
hallway said “you have a unique way of relating to people no matter their
circumstances and along with your business techniques, I want to add my 39
years of “insight” to that. I think you have a gift in the field of Operations
Management and I would like to add to it”. I will forever be thankful for
that, I use a lot of it in everyday living along with business.
“if you don’t mind I would like to share a couple of my business outlook
statements” I made and taught to over 6000 students, and I use everyday.
1.There is no such thing as a market share. (other than an icon in a
meeting) Markets are what you make of them, either exert your talents and
gain market control or sit back and give up just that!
2. Quality control and Advertising, both are a statement of either, how
cheap your are compared to your competition or how far you stand above
the competition, one is no good without the other!
3. Customer and/or employee relations, they are as much the opposite as
they are the same. If one is happy with you, the other will follow. If one is
not, most likely with other wont be either.
I thank you for letting me show a little of what I bring to a business, and
would look forward to helping take your business to the next level.
Thank you,
Dale L. Babb
