CONTRIBUTIONS & ACHIEVEMENTS
Successfully transformed business operations that enhanced clients’ ability to compete through
improvement to operational efficiencies, business processes and technology in manufacturing and
distribution environments. My proactive approach to issues, immersion in situations and
commitment to winning solutions guarantee that I run business instead of watching business run.
Relocated corporate offices and consolidated allied companies into one entity while
maintaining operations, streamlining organization and building new employee teams. Efforts
included coordination of project activities with top management and peers while acting as a full-
charge executive with budget and schedule responsibility to the principal enterprise.
Recognized as a key supply chain specialist and information systems resource through
serving nearly 60 organizations in 25 market segments, and their hundreds of suppliers or
customers in national and international markets.
Enhanced sales opportunities and revenues beyond core product offering by building reseller
and referral relationships in the North American market and establishing a reputation as a quality
supplier.

Materials Engineer
Led a four person materials engineering component that supported systems controlling a 350,000
item operating inventory at 90 power storeroom locations. Responsible for opportunity
identification and establishment of computer based systems to more efficiently utilize inventories.
Resultant efficiency improvements from my activities directly impacted profitability of power
generation across the utility’s seven state operation.
• Conceptualized a methodology and implemented a comprehensive means to model
inventory characteristics by item and forecast aggregate future behavior. This was done by
obtaining purchase history, safety stock, minimum order quantity, inventory stock
withdrawal/scrap history and related information from the inventory locator system. I used
the commercially-available SAS product and employed the statistical model tools to
manipulate the information into usable form. By involving power plant management and in
