Project Manager FEI

Mr. Rajabali led the international implementation of a Product Lifecycle

Management system for a global manufacturer of microscopes which are used

for cancer research. The scope of the project included standardizing the

bills of materials throughout the company and then using SAP MDM as a data

repository. The business process also used workflow to facilitate timely

approvals and input during the engineering change management process.

Workflow processing utilized SAP MDM, SAP XI, portals as well as Web Dynpro

objects. Mr. Rajabali was responsible for leading the team of consultants

and the internal IT team. Responsibilities included project planning,

communications to both executives and team members, change management,

developing the methodology and deliverables for the project.

Project Manager, Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group

Mr. Rajabali led the integration of the Southeast region within the overall

SAP implementation. The implementation team included two manufacturing

plants, six distribution centers and eight "double-bottom" sites. Business

scope included manufacturing, inventory management, sales and distribution

with a heavy emphasis in DSD (direct store delivery) as well as bulk

delivery. The solution included the use of mobile handheld units. Mr.

Rajabali was responsible for developing an overall implementation plan,

managing the implementation team as well as developing and managing the

detailed cutover plan. Responsibilities included project management,

change management, developing and managing the implementation methodology,

risk management and management of deliverables. Software components

included SAP 6.0 as well as Apacheta.

PMO Deployment Leader, Amgen

Mr. Rajabali led the development of the deployment activities for a complex

global implementation for a $14.5B company involving 6000 new users. The

project team was approximately 300 members, almost equally divided between

consulting staff and client staff. Deployment activities included building

a detailed plan which included timing and deployment of key business and

system activities during the cutover in a regulated environment. Business

scope included order to cash, supply chain planning, procure to pay, and

business financials. Deployment activities also included planning for the

support model which included 3 central command centers and 6 other command

centers located in the manufacturing sites. This activity included ensuring

that cross functional support was available on a 24x7 basis globally.

Software components included SAP Net Weaver 7.0, ECC 5.0, GTS 7.0, SRM 4.0,

APO 5.0, BW 7.0, SEM and numerous other downstream systems. The

implementation was beneficial to the client in the following ways: improved

data integrity, real time access to information, process efficiency

improvement, improved ability to do compliance reporting and streamlining

of redundant systems.

Project Manager, Puget Sound Energy

Mr. Rajabali was responsible for the project management and PMO leadership

team for a SAP upgrade for one of the largest utilities in the Pacific

Northwest. The scope of the upgrade included existing functionality, new

functionality, change management, infrastructure planning. Defined

methodology and governance structures for project tracking, risk

management, deliverables management, and status reporting to steering

committee and project. I participated in the development of detailed

deliverables to ensure consistency and quality for each of the phases of

the project. Functional scope included work management, finance, human

resources, sales and distribution and customer service. The upgrade was

delivered under budget and one month earlier than originally scheduled.

Integration Manager, Southern Cal Edison

Mr. Rajabali served as the Integration Lead for one of the largest

utilities in the United States. As a result of integration issues during

the Blueprint phase, Mr. Rajabali led a team of individuals from each of

the key process areas to facilitate integration in order to ensure a more

successful implementation. Responsibilities included PMO responsibility,

project planning, methodology definition and implementation, risk

management, knowledge transfer and solution deployment. I was responsible

for methodology, definition and presentation of key performance areas. I

was also responsible for coordination of IT infrastructure, change

management, training and security. As a result, individual teams developed

sixty integrated processes which enabled further due diligence for a more

successful realization phase.

Project Manager, Sutter Home Winery

Mr. Rajabali led the ERP Upgrade for a leading food and beverage company

that produces a variety of brand name wines. Responsibilities include PMO

responsibility, project planning, methodology definition and

implementation, risk management, knowledge transfer and solution

deployment. Mr. Rajabali was responsible for coordination of IT

infrastructure, change management, training and security. Functional scope

included Supply Chain, Trade Promotions, Financials, Sales and

Distribution, and Customer Service. Managed training effort 300 end users

in remote locations

Managed the customization of the delivery methodology which involved a

client SDLC and the ASAP methodology and made modifications where necessary

for the project. Mr. Rajabali participated in the development of detailed

deliverables to ensure consistency and quality for each of the phases of

the project. Defined methodology and governance structures for project

tracking, risk management, deliverables management, and status reporting to

steering committee and project.

Project Manager, Fender Musical Instruments

Mr. Rajabali managed ERP remediation effort for the world's foremost

manufacturer of guitars, amplifiers and related equipment. Mr. Rajabali

oversaw the development of priorities for the IT department in conjunction

with the business strategies. Responsibilities included redesign of IT

processes, organization and technology evaluation and remediation. Mr.

Rajabali led process improvement efforts including optimizing business

process integration with IT. Mr. Rajabali developed organizational

readiness by retooling, hiring, and optimizing the department as required.

Functional scope included Plan to Ship, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay,

Financials and Treasury and reporting. Advanced manufacturing methods such

as demand driven forecasting (DFT) were utilized as part of the solution.

Project Manager, Bayer Corporation

Mr. Rajabali led a large team of consultants and clients to help resolve a

troubled implementation for a Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company

which produces world renowned drug products in the fields of animal health,

genetically produced medicines, over the counter products and prescription

drugs. Mr. Rajabali completed a thorough analysis, resolved operational

issues, implemented supply chain process improvements, completed skill

assessments and provided relevant training to employees. Project resulted

in the business returning to a normal operational mode. He was responsible

for defining customized approach to support the technology assessment

Provided results and 90 day plan recommendations to senior executive

management.

Project Manager, Nestle

Mr. Rajabali led a cross functional team to implement the data migration

strategy for a global food manufacturer. Developed and presented

recommendations to senior team globally. Mr. Rajabali developed methodology

and templates to gather data for go-live plan. Managed efforts to

incorporate data migration items and sequencing within go-live plan which

includes functionality from FI, CO, Trade, APO, AP/PU, MM, AR and BW. Mr.

Rajabali developed testing approach for string testing. Managed two cycles

of string testing which included SAP functionality, external systems and

global implications.

Project Manager, Clorox

Mr. Rajabali led design and configuration for a global manufacturer of

consumer goods. Scope included nine separate business units addressing

business specific issues such as inventory requirements, customer

prioritization, deployment, and transportation, and product sourcing,

issues. I led the team of supply chain professionals to develop a working

prototype for two separate business units to demonstrate advanced planning

functionality. Mr. Rajabali led a variety of workshops with demand and

supply planners. Scope included APO DP, SNP and TP/VS. Functionality and

design included demand planning "pass-through", supply network planning

using the optimizer and heuristics, and interface to R/3 production

planning.

Mr. Rajabali developed implementation plan and implementation methodology

using an accelerated implementation plan. Mr. Rajabali closely managed

relationship with SAP in order to ensure success with an emerging, high

risk technology.

Project Manager, Microsoft

Mr. Rajabali managed the supply chain implementation for a global

manufacturer of software and hardware for 20 person Supply Chain Team for a

global manufacturer of software and hardware. Mr. Rajabali led all phases

of the implementation using an accelerated implementation methodology.

Created detailed implementation plans. Implemented best business practices

for business areas including forecasting time series modes, advanced

planning using optimization techniques and web collaboration. SAP scope

included demand planning, supply network planning and Integration with R/3.

As part of the PMO, responsibilities included status and issue reporting to

senior executives.

Project Manager, T-Mobile

Mr. Rajabali led a strategic reverse logistics cost reduction initiative

for a global handset provider. Activities included redesign of reverse

logistics forecasting process, restructured repair strategy with third

party logistics providers. The effort resulted in reverse logistics process

forecasting process time from 10 days to 3 days. Managed and designed

repair code process. Design included negotiation and categorization of

repair codes such as NTF, customer abuse, warranty, etc. Repair Code

Redesign resulted in increased negotiating leverage with 3rd party

logistics providers. In addition, this effort provided data for the

business to ensure that Level 1 repairs are being performed in-house.

Developed recommendations of long term reverse logistics strategy in line

with overall supply chain strategy.

Team Lead, Montana Power

Mr. Rajabali led plant maintenance/ work management team for a large

utility company. Led the as-is and to-be workshops. Mr. Rajabali provided

industry best practices workshops regarding predictive vs. preventative

maintenance strategies. Responsibilities included design specifications,

master data management, configuration and go live planning. Additional

responsibility included leading the testing phase for the project team and

design of the deliverables used for each phase of the successful

implementation.

Team Lead, Intermec Technologies

Mr. Rajabali led the warehouse management team which include complex

interface from SAP Inventory Management to a bolt-on product, Metrix. Scope

included warehouse management, inventory management, complex "put away"

strategies, warehouse optimization, cycle counting, receiving, quality

management, inspection, KANBAN processes and reporting Company owned bar

scanners and printers were used to accomplish transactions for warehouse

and production staff. Developed and managed relationship with Catalyst

international. The implementation resulted in a showcase implementation.

Team Member, IBM Corporation

Mr. Rajabali participated on the advanced planning, production and plant

maintenance teams for a global manufacturer of computer hardware. Mr.

Rajabali completed scoping and planning phase of an i2/SAP implementation,

which included forecasting, Master planning, and detail scheduling.

Geographical scope included United States, Japan, and Thailand. Interfaces

between i2 Factory Planner and SAP included Master Data (BOM'S, Routings,

and Work Centers), inventory data, purchasing data, and demand data.

Identified "gaps" and designed "workarounds" for global implementation. Mr.

Rajabali was responsible for configuration of i2, SAP PP and SAP PM.
