at K-SWISS Inc and leading programmer in RPG (RPG ILE, Freeform RPG,

(Inovis)

Successfully maintained and customized over 3000 programs in RPG,

CLP.

Embedded SQL in RPG, RPG ILE, and RPG IV. Freeform RPG and CGI RPG

for the Web, download query files to EXCEL service modules and

service programs in ILE, triggers in RPG.

Performance and optimization of database, queries and SQL.

Importing data from Windows to AS/400 through Microsoft SQL server.

Automated the Y2K transformation of over 2000 custom RPG and CLP

programs with 65% accuracy.

This tool saved over $500.000 but also saved the company millions for

not going to SAP at that time.

EDI mapping with Inovis.

Responsible for developing/improving EDI maps and related processes

with Inovis (previously Harbinger, Premenos, ACS) and other

applications interfaced with AS/400 I series. Responsible for

creating maps for processing inbound (850, 816, 864, 856, 820,

869 and outbound ( 850, 810, 856, 870

Responsible for administrating and configuring the VANs (GEIS, IBM

Expedite/direct, custom networks) and lines information. Converted

from SNA to FTP transmissions and reduced the telephone bills with

faster services.

Programmed on ABAP (SAP) for 3 years at K-SWISS Inc. Learned it at

SAP Education center and certified.

Management/Supervision

Directed recruitment and retention of a staff of 6 programmers.

Trained, supervised and evaluated staff, coached improvement

in all RPG and CLP languages. Starting as a consultant for

one year K-SWISS asked me join them as a Director.

Used SDLC methodology to implement new tasks and worked with

tools, data modeling and data analysis.

Debugged and QA to implement in Production using SOX rules.
