Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your considering me for employment with your company. I am a self-starter and motivator. I
am looking for the chance to show someone my abilities and strengths that make me an asset for any
company. I graduated from Palo Verde College, Magna Cum Laude, with an Associate in Arts Degree in
Liberal Arts & Science and made the Dean’s list twice and the President’s list once. My final grade point
average was 3.8, which made me eligible to be inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Also, I
completed a Vocational Training Program in Office Services and Related Technologies, focusing on
Microsoft Office Applications along with Basic Office Skills. Formally I worked in the Air Conditioning &
Heating Industry as a Service Technician. I gained many skills in that industry, such as, sales, customer
service, troubleshooting, problem solving, parts inventory and ordering, and as a manager, supervision of
employees.
I am dependable, honorable, honest, hard-working, and willing to take on any task or project. I have held
many different types of positions, and have an on-going desire to learn new skills and knowledge. I
welcome new challenges and have the confidence that I can meet them. I work well alone or in a group,
and believe in supporting the whole to get the job done.
I am available for full-time employment and willing to work any shift. I have reliable transportation and a
valid Texas Drivers License.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to an interview with you.
Sincerely,
Ray Bowen
