Comprehensive background in the computer sciences; software development,

systems/network administration, and general electronics to include:

Programming:

General design, coding, debugging and documenting of database,

website, encryption and engineering apps: primarily in C/C++. User

interface design (GUI) and coding. BASH, PERL, Java Script, TCL scripts.

Designed and coded Unix based server apps for security & systems

monitoring. Designed, coded and maintained a multi-user client-server

DB/Comm engine and interfaces for an on-line communications service. Coded

and maintained a currently in-use DNSBL and Anti-SPAM/Virus system.

Designed/coded and documented an SCTP prototype proof of concept system per

government contract. Created PKI encryption software (using commercial and

in-house algorithms) which included email/data client side modules,

ftp/file/streaming encryption engines and Certificate Authority (CA)

servers. Coded/maintained terminal emulation software in assembler/C.

Recoded Bahamut IRCD and created TcL based channel bots for large IRC

Install/operate/design/maintain all associated Unix based Internet

servers, routers, switches, and associated equipment on various network

pipes.

Manages and operates the FRWS ISP/Hosting service. Set-up, use and

maintenance of all ISP related hardware/software serving customer servers

and sites. Website design & maintenance using HTML/PERL/PHP/MySQL. Cutting

edge anti-SPAM, Intrusion Detection and other technologies designed and

implemented for the ISP. Created and maintains a HIPAA compliant storage

and data transfer system using the latest available server and encryption

technology for off-site medical data storage. Lead PKI/Encryption

engineer/consultant for packet level encryption to implement discrete file

and data transfer systems for large data files in support of HIPAA.

Installed, maintained and managed servers and network systems in

support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Managed many (35+) Windows Servers

(2000/2003) running MS Exchange 5.x, Active Directory 2003, IIS,

Sharepoint, DNS/DHCP, Veritas BackUp software, WebSense, VOIP, CISCO PIX.

Managed over 2000 user accounts with associated mailboxes, 8 distinct

networks at multiple locations to include the US Embassy and Camp Eggers.

Managed multiple email and DNS/AD domains, and associated DHCP systems.

Migrated AD 2000 users and systems to AD 2003 on multiple domains,

troubleshot and repaired various network and server issues as required in a

10/95 - 10/98 GlobalKey, Inc., Colorado Springs. Lead Computer Systems

Designer/Engineer/Programmer and Development Program/Systems Manager

Lead engineer/systems administrator in the design and building of the

secure GlobalKey communications network. Using a combined Novell and LINUX

network along with complex comm. software and hardware from varied vendors;

leading edge encryption technologies and specialized hardware to secure and

maintain the entire system. PKI (RSA Labs) technology was used to add

encryption and key management to email and data files. GlobalKey

Certificate Authority designed and created. LAN/WAN systems design,

construction and maintenance. Used knowledge of telecommunications systems,

on-line service/network architecture and computer comm. to succeed in

creating one of the first commercially available secure email and data

systems.

Database and applications design and implementation. LAN and WAN

design, installation and administration of Novell networks. Data-subsystem

integration for military satellite networks (MILSTAR). Integral part of the

team that created a secure military email and messaging system (client and

servers) for use by forward operating personnel.

1/91 - 7/92 Softronics Inc, Colorado Springs. R&D Software Engineer.

Coding and maintaining of C/Assembly code for comm. software (SOFTERM

MODULAR) and PM terminal for IBM OS/2 v2.0. Designed and coded GUI systems

for program shell and install program for the multi-platform communications

software for Windows 3.x and OS/2. Coded and maintained the system

environment and several terminal emulation modules for this commercial

product.

Created, coded, released and maintains several GPL applications/re-

directors and modules for the Squid Web Proxy, Webmin system, Apache Web
