Purchasing & Materials Manager (Confidential), (2010 to current)

Responsible negotiating win-win scenarios with key suppliers' driving a 2

to 5% savings. Established a comprehensive PFEP strategy for launching the

new vehicle launch for 2010. Program lead in driving bill of material

accuracy and developing consignment and outside warehousing strategies for

axle housing up-fittings and wheel assemblies.

Material Control Manager (2002 to 2005 / 2006 to 2008)

Resumed former role to develop and implement a formal obsolescence process

that would highlight MP&L balance out performance and ensure all Ford

claims are submitted on time, as plant obsolescence had grown from $4

million to $6.8 million since prior promotion. Assessed current state,

identified obsolete parts, isolated unpaid supplier claims, and reported

findings to plant finance for operational reserve consideration.

Successfully decreased obsolescence to $4.9 million. Enrolled the new hire

in a 6 week, one-on-one training to ensure continued success.

Manage all material control duties for ACH Monroe including purchase part

and steel procurement, customer releasing, balance out and obsolescence,

current/past model service coordination, new model launch, and engineering

change programs. Monitor Ford manufacturing schedules and report to

production control specialist. Manage staff of 6 and an inventory budget

of $35 million. Coordinate Direct Shipment requests between Visteon/Ford

Sales, customer service and local; (export/abroad, Ford of Europe,

Venezuela, Taiwan, etc.) distribution centers. Managed all supplier current

production releases ensuring no interruption to production schedules. In

addition, launched new suppliers, coordinating all new model parts with

program timing, ramp-up timing and PPAP requirements.

Material Handling Superintendent (2005 to 2006)

Managed the daily activities of 9 direct reports and 80 - 140 hourly

employees reporting indirect labor performance weekly. Led staff through

all safety initiatives, audits and awareness material. Facilitated the

targeted training mandates from Plant Safety and Quality. Managed 5

Material Handling Supervisors.

Distribution Supervisor (2000 to 2002)

Govern Customer Distribution, the daily shipping hot list, and communicate

critical part shortages with Scheduling, Material Handling and Shipping.

Promoted to execute all aspects of distribution of manufactured commodities

to Ford and non-Ford customers for VISTEON Corporation, a spin off division

of Ford.

New Model & Engineering Change Coordinator (1998 to 2000)

Planned all special build programs and engineering change notices with

Engineering, Quality Control, Production, and Material Planning and

Logistics. Coordinated (with manufacturing engineer) all new model

production runs ensuring timely PPAP completion.

Maintained new model parts were packaged properly and shipped by the

assigned "In Plant Date". Worked exclusively with Visteon Pre-Production

Planning group to generate accurate bills of material. Drove timely bill of

material implementation, weekly publication of engineering change package,

and conducted weekly meetings to review threats to customer timing,

supplier concerns/drifts, new engineering changes and customer key dates.

EARLY FORD/VISTEON CAREER (1992 to 1998)

Began Ford career in increasingly responsible roles within the Material

Control division including Production Control Specialist, Obsolescence and

Balance Out Coordinator, Releasing and Service Coordinator, and

Distribution Specialist. Gained valuable experience in all aspects of
