Machine shop experience included but not limited to
operation of LaBlond Makinos, Okuma and other
typical machining centers.
Other lengths of service in the machine shop were
spent in the operation of horizontal machining
centers, turret lathes, screw machines, drill
presses, parts washers.
Maintained my level of expertise in the weld
department. Mig and robotic welded stainless,
galvanized and cold-rolled materials.
Arc welding and brazing were not the most used
methods, but nevertheless they were an important
part to many of the processes.
Orchestrated new quality control measures within
departments. Held quality control inspector
positions where various quality control procedures
were used such as SPC charting, ISO procedures,
TQM, PPAP, ASTM, and Six Sigma.
Extensive experience in assembly,
shipping/receiving (forklift - gas, electric,
stand-up), and powder coat painting. Created many
new processes in the paint department along with
the standardized training program for all forklift
drivers.
Group leader positions were held while working in
the paint and welding departments.
