• Completed remodeling, renovations and refurbishments of eight (8) Independent Living Homes, Ten (10) Independent Living Apartments and thirteen (13) Assisted Living and five (5) Skilled Nursing Rooms.

• Developed and implemented PM Works Computerized Maintenance Management System for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, grounds; and fire code and life safety compliant work orders.

Director Facilities Management

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida Jacksonville, FL. 2008 to 2010

• Planned, organized, managed and directed various responsibilities associated with the daily operations and facilitation of new construction, renovation, remodeling, and maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment of eight community based facilities in three counties, (Duval, Nassau and St. Johns).

• Managed design and construction development of the New Tournament Players Championship Club in St. Augustine, Florida. Managed the remodeling and renovation to the 25,000 square foot Historic Laurence F. Lee Club including installation of fire monitoring and alarm system, in Jacksonville, Florida.

• Successfully instituted annual maintenance service agreements and negotiated ongoing repairs to aging facilities with an extremely limited budget, while reducing expenses for the agency and crafting solutions to major problems at each of the club facilities.

• Managed staff and coordinated the operations of the Engineering Department; including project design and construction management as well as operations administration including personnel and budgetary responsibilities.

• Represented the Physical Facilities Department on several major design development and construction projects to ensure that they met University Standards.

Assistant Director Facilities Services and Maintenance, Duval County Public Schools, Jacksonville, FL. 1994 to 2003

• Completed $65 million dollars of Capital Improvement Projects throughout Duval County including Additions, Remodeling, Renovations, Re-roofing and Site Drainage Improvements at Four (4) high schools, four (4) middle schools and eleven (11) elementary schools.

• Liaison with architects and engineers, maintenance personnel, district staff and facility occupants to accomplish Capital Outlay projects approved by the Duval County School Board. Develop project scopes, budgets, request for proposals, and other responsibilities as they related to project management.

• Managed office operations personnel and School District Management Staff that included four (4) Maintenance General Foremen, thirty three (33) Maintenance Craft Foremen, and three hundred sixty three (363) Maintenance Crafts Personnel throughout Duval County Public Schools. Maintained 163 schools, which included 105 elementary schools, 25 middle schools, 19 high schools, 6 charter schools, and 8 alternative schools.
