2 year Captain: Ensure that all team members are aware of and on time to all practices,

meetings, games, and meals. Organize post-season and non-traditional season practices

and weight lifting. Communicate with the coaches and other captains. Establish proper

behavior during the season and ensure that teammates are complying with the policies.

Solve problems and deal with conflicts between teammates.

Student Athletic Advisory Committee 2006-2010

Communicate with faculty members about the responsibilities of being a collegiate athlete

and help resolve conflicts between athletics and academics. Help plan community service

and outreach programs for the varsity athletes at RMC. Support faculty advisors in

educating athletes about nutrition, fitness, resume building and the dangers of some

extracurricular choices.

Work Experience

Army ROTC Cadet 2008-2010

Mentor Program Cadet OIC: Developed a high-quality and reliable mentor program

between the senior cadets and underclassmen to ensure adequate flow of necessary

information between cadets and cadre. Supervise Mentor Program assistants for each of

the three companies within the battalion. Generate monthly reports on the battalion

morale, training needs and identify cadets in academic trouble. Ensure all mentors

complete necessary mentoring forms for cadre. Give presentation to 4 th ROTC Brigade

Commander on the Spider Battalion Mentoring Program.

Randolph-Macon Cadet OIC: assist cadre in setting up meetings and locations for

physical training, recruiting and other necessary event, while also making certain that

cadets and prospective cadets are in attendance. Ensure that RMC cadets have proper

transportation to the University of Richmond for classes and other special training events.
