Responsible for all incoming materials ($40MM), production planning, labor
allocations (unionized facility), warehouse and distribution - coordinate
outbound freight, customer service, along with liaison between Marketing
and production facility. Managed ~30 employees.
Significant Achievements:
6. Key member to coordinate the sale to Anheuser-Busch and effectively
close the Latrobe Brewery - delivered final volume, achieved budgeted
material write-off, and effectively moved final materials from facility
on-time.
7. Team Member, successful launch of Rock Green Light: concept to national
distribution in a 24-week period.
8. Coordinated implementation and outsourcing of 24oz can and 30 Pack (12
oz cans), complete with Alternating Premise, with City Brewing in La
Crosse, WI.

unionized facility), servicing customers in the USA, Mexico, South America,
Europe and Asia. Operational Headcount: 200~350 employees.

11. Completed $3.0 MM capacity project - increasing output over 60% in
first year.
12. Completed $3.0 MM capital project to reduce material cost 75%, resulted
in first year savings of $5.5 MM.
13. Initiated Flexible workforce - capable of moving from three shifts to

14. Six Sigma Champion (Air Academy). Initiated and drove Six Sigma
philosophy developing the site's only certified Master Blackbelt and

Manager, Trinitron Front Process (1995-1997)
Managed startup of new 35" Cathode Ray Tube product - a $40 MM capital
project with 75 employees.
Responsibilities included: facilities and equipment layout and preparation,
staff management and development (included training at sister plant in San
Diego), equipment testing and debugging, product quality, new component
verification, online judgment and achieving required production quantities.
Significant Achievement:
. On time start up (2/1/96) of new design product completed with new
component suppliers, newly developed staff, first Trinitron at Pittsburgh
facility, with modified equipment transferred from Japan.
Staff Engineer (1995)
Promoted to Staff Engineer to lead quality efforts as a precursor to formal
quality department.
Responsible to ensure and confirm complete projection CRT performance and
quality. Activities included routine electrical performance, life and x-
ray testing and breakdown and defect analysis. Managed three Technicians.
21. QC Customer Liaison with Set Division - communicated all quality issues
and improvement progress between customers and CRT operations
establishing open relationship with customer.
Engineer (1991-1995)
Second Engineer hired for new Sony Facility in preparations for 27" CRT
production. Due to world economics, specifically the Gulf War, the project
was suspended resulting in assignments to various projects as listed:
22. Project Engineer for $1.0 MM Blackening Oven. Created specification,
coordinated and evaluated quotations, awarded project, conducted
milestone reviews, equipment installation, acceptance and testing.
23. Assisted first-ever Sony Aperture Grille lab in preparation of project
acceptance for Sony's first production Aperture Grille line. Resulted in
New Business Development with $100MM annual revenue.
24. Process Engineer and Customer Liaison for Mechanical Seal introduction
(Rear Projection CRT Optics). Supervised equipment installation
(equipment sourced from Japan and locally). Established processes,
trained staff, ensured productivity, efficiency and quality levels to
meet customer requirements.
25. Assisted introduction of complete 7" projection CRT to Pittsburgh
facility eliminating overseas sourcing.
26. Zenith OEM Project Manager. Responsible for commercial and technical
coordination of Rear Projection CRT to Zenith's Juarez, Mexico Rear
Projection Set Assembly operations.

Provided engineering support to Aluminum Structural Machining, Weld Line

implementation of changes and disposition for quality non-conformance.
. Implemented $105,000 fixture for floor weldment resulting in annual
savings of $500,000.
. Coordinated review, analysis, simulation testing and the implementation
to the foaming procedures for the M109A2 and M992 lower hull creating a
