Researched and developed proposals surrounding China’s environmental policies and programs as part of a
joint venture among the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, United Nations Environmental
Program, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
Developed strategies and recommendations, which were adopted by INECE, for a campaign aimed at
strengthening the Montreal Protocol and protecting the ozone layer and climate system, which helped to
pass the amendment to Montreal Protocol and realized that 191 parties to the Montreal Protocol reached
a historic agreement on the 20th Anniversary of Montreal Protocol, to strengthen the ozone treaty to
address Greenhouse Gas emissions by up to 25 billion tons of CO2 equivalent five times more than
Kyoto Protocol will do during its initial reduction period (2008 2012).
Advised INECE Director to consider suggestions to negotiate with Chinese officials on combining Chinese
economic policies such as foreign trade and financial policies with environmental policies. Received
high praise from Director for my suggestion.
Provided insight, on the culture of Chinese central government versus provincial government, to a team of
corporations and policymakers investing in China. This insight helped stakeholders to adjust their
policies and regulations to the provincial government cultures and ensured compliance and enforcement
at local level.

Oversaw compliance with central Chinese government’s environmental regulation, during my role as
standing legal advisor to Haier Group, JIMO Electric Power Corporation.
Provided specialized legal services to aid domestic enterprises in restructuring, merger and acquisitions,
capital operations, and financing projects for Qingdao Taineng Gas group, Qingdao Iron and Steel
group, Qingdao Chemical Factory and Qingdao Cement Factory etc.
As the legal counselor for the construction of buildings and facilities for the 2008 Olympic Games, I drafted
and examined contracts and offered legal opinions to the Qingdao Sailing Committee, a subcommittee
of the Beijing Organizing Committee.
Successfully represented Qingdao Double peach Specialty Chemicals Group Company, Ltd. (QCG) in its
claim against American Dyestuff, Incorporated (ADI) for breach of contract.
Investigation resulted in a settlement for QCG to receive 15% (versus 0%) compensation from ADI,
which had declared bankruptcy and lacked sufficient funds to pay its creditors.
Contacted international lawyers in 48 countries, organized conference schedule and logistics, served as
Mistress of Ceremony, and delivered presentation on the practice of law in China, during the ADVOC
ASIA 2005 Annual General Meeting.

Succeeded, through legal representation, in securing a settlement of 9 million RMB from debtors of China
Shipping Container Lines Company, Ltd., a maritime shipping company.
Collaborated with a team of legal advisers for Guoren Group (GC) in its anti dumping trade disputes in the
US. Resulted in US’s termination of efforts to impose taxes on GC.
