PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have over thirty-five years of technical and managerial experience in the

manufacturing environment. My most recent manufacturing experience was

Complex Environmental Manager for ten years where I was responsible for

implementing and maintaining all environmental programs at five sites in

central Mississippi. Developed great skills at interpreting regulations and

keeping the company compliant with local, MEMA, MDEQ, EPA, MDOT, OSHA, and

corporate requirements. The programs included: Air (true minor),

Biohazardous Waste, Hazardous Waste, Recycling, SPCC, Storm Water,

Universal Waste, Solid Waste, Used Containers, Used Oil, Water, and

Wastewater. The company went almost three years without a DMR exception. I

submitted monthly and annual reports to various regulatory agencies. I also

performed onsite inspections and implemented corrective actions as needed.

Providing onsite training and was also within my scope of responsibility.

CHRONOLOGICAL WORK HISTORY

Project Manager, Longwind Construction 2009 - Present

This is a small construction company. I estimate and submit jobs for

construction projects and manage ongoing projects.

Complex Environmental Manager, Tyson Foods 1998 - 2008

Successfully managed all environmental programs in unison with health and

safety at five locations in central Mississippi. My primary responsibility

was to develop, implement, coordinate and maintain systems to sustain

compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations. To

accomplish this I have listed some of the functions I performed.

- Developed and executed EHS plans.

- Site Manager for corporate EMS

-Tracked chemical usage.

- Performed periodic audits to ensure effectiveness.

- Interacted with DOT, EPA, MDEQ, and OSHA and other regulatory agencies.

- Ensured manufactured homes met HUD, the manufacturer, and customer

specifications.
