occurred, and how to interact effectively, this job experience has
made me a better person.

Summer School Helper
Hanover County Public Schools
. Every summer from age twelve to sixteen I volunteered in the summer
school class for pre-school aged children who had disabilities such as
autism. My responsibilities included helping with the daily classroom
activities such as, arts and crafts, sensory activities such as
writing with shaving cream, setting out lunches, reading to them, and
much more.
. After volunteering every summer at age seventeen I worked as an
Assistant Teacher for two summers. The first summer I worked one on
one with an autistic child. While, in my second summer I worked with
high school students who had disabilities.
Other Experience
. I also have gained experience through working in a restaurant, child
care center, children's gym, and doing clerical work at the local
middle school while in high school.
