• As a clerk in a personal injury/commercial litigation firm, my duties included general research and
drafting briefs, memoranda, complaints, contracts, correspondence, discovery requests and answers. This
included exposure to a variety of areas of law ranging from torts and contracts to estates and family law.
Legislative Fellow, House of Representatives BMC, Harrisburg, PA Jan. – May 2006
• As a legislative fellow, I prepared bill summaries and analyses, drafted constituent letters and researched
issues as needed. The program culminated in me researching, drafting and presenting an original piece of
legislation as well.

• As a cook my duties included cooking, cleaning, and handling high pressure situations in one of the
busiest restaurants in the city.
Staff Assistant, Fitzpatrick for Congress, Doylestown, PA May – December 2006
• As a staff assistant, my duties included various tasks from staffing and coordinated events to taking
pictures and designing invitations. I also developed and maintained records and spreadsheets of
volunteers and people who wanted yard signs as well as other tasks that arose on a daily basis.
Student Manager, Elizabethtown College Dining Services, Elizabethtown, PA Aug 2002 – May 2006
• As a student manager, I was responsible for staffing the store and the daily operations of the Jay’s Nest
portion of dining services, the only aspect of dining services open past 7 p.m. In addition to staffing, I
handled disciplinary issues, inventory, prep work, cooking and managing the other student employees.
These responsibilities also included handling the cash register, making nightly deposits and completing
profit reports.

• I held various other positions including becoming a member of the board of directors /disc jockey for the
college radio station, a tutor, a busboy and sales associate in a sporting goods store to finance my
undergraduate education
