Senior Programmer Analyst

Consulting for two remote clients on AS400/iSeries applications.

Recently completed a custom interface project that transfers inventory

between BPCS and Field Service 400 application installs. This allows

consolidated financial tracking of all inventory (both warehouse and

truck stock) in the BPCS ERP system.

Developer III - Manager, Service Applications Development

Duties ranged from lead developer/analyst to project manager to hands

on manager for the AS400/iSeries service applications. Led the

software development that facilitated the creation of a

centralized call center including ticket escalation, automatic

processing of two-way pager responses, automatic holding and billing of

tickets. Responsible for the retrofit of all Field Service 400 /

JDEdwards World touch points for the transition to Oracle / JDEdwards

OneWorld This included over 250 programs as well as the creation of a

new RPGILE/Java pricing engine that retrieves pricing information from

the OneWorld pricing module. Developed conversion programs for merging

data from Health Care Product's Baan Service application (Oracle

database) in to Diagnostic Imaging's FS400 database (DB2) following the

merger of two national Medical Imaging Service organizations with

combined revenues of $80M and over 40,000 customers. Generated custom

financial reporting for both accounting and management. Exported and

formatted the service database for import in to two other service

packages. Managed and directed the team integrating Field Centrix

FxMobile (PocketPC application) with FS400. Provided guidance,

mentoring and management to the service application staff.

Senior programmer analyst duties for both of ACSIS's AS400/iSeries

product lines, Field Service 400 (FS400) and ASIST. Highlights

include:

FS400 product: Incorporated license key security starting with version

3.28 which generated over half a million dollar increase in seat

license fees over the previous version's honor system. Rewrote the

external ERP interface providing increased flexibility, reduced

processing time and improved reliability. Was responsible for a

majority of the new programs in the V4.0 release. Performed major

on-site retrofit of client's custom code in to the FS400 V3.28 release

as well as onsite support for Y2K "go live". Developed client custom

enhancements on-site.

ASIST product: Enhanced and supported the RPGILE/CLLE based

application. Developed programs for a backup utility suite, replacing

the standard IBM backup, to provide increased functionality.
