SQL SERVER DBA\DEVELOPER
As member of Tech-Management and Integration team, worked on the design and development of SQL
SERVER databases in Development and Production environment for tax application. This application
serves Dow chemical company with their annual tax purpose and participated in other database activities
• Managed 4 member team in Server Consolidation Project. This project is primarily to move the
existing 6 servers from SQL Server 2000 environment to the current SQL Server 2005 and 2008
environments. Participated in the install of the software, creating instances and migrating the
400+ databases to the new servers. Designed a procedure to automate the migration process.
This helped the client to save 200+ man hours.
• Worked with Server team to configure and partition various disks over SAN for the migration
process for the new servers
• Worked with Development team to troubleshoot and fix performance issues.
