Teaching Experience:

I have taught science to all levels of students. My students have included

several who were on IEP"s (Individual Education Plans) to the very

brightest. The subjects I have taught include: Biology, Chemistry, Physical

Sciences, Materials Sciences, Human Anatomy and Physiology.

I taught Chemistry lab for the Univ. Of Maryland on a military base in

Germany.

I tutored military Air Force in college science classes.

I tutored several students taking on-line courses from Brigham Young

University (BYU) and Texas Tech Independent Study.

My tutoring has included

. High school students taking chemistry

. US Air Force and Army active duty who took college chemistry

. Tutored students in my seminars in all high school subjects

. Tutored a student who was taking college level organic chemistry

online to complete her degree

. Tutored students who were studying to become LPN's in chemistry,

biology, anatomy and physiology

. Taught some student "how to study"

. Developed science fair projects for elementary school students

. Taught science subjects to elementary classes

I know that some students need help because their education is lacking in a

subject. Other students may be studying something that is not familiar to

them and with help could be successful. It is also a fact that some

students do not know how to study.

My teaching certificate is from Louisiana.

I am applying for a certificate from North Carolina.
