First year increased sales by 50% while I was a salesperson for a

seven state area selling composite decking. Territory was expanded to

twenty four states overseeing twelve sales reps and it continues to

expand as I now oversee thirty one states. Responsibilities included:

sales budgeting and forecasting, securing new accounts while retaining

and growing existing accounts, helped in the transition from one step

distribution to two step distributions. I developed the present point

of sale display as well as rewrote the installation manual. I secured

and oversaw the decking phase of two Extreme Home Makeovers.

NATIONAL SALES MANAGER 9/04 - 12/07

Started as territory salesperson, selling vinyl railing and fencing;

the first year my increased sales by over 40% through sales to

contractors, and lumberyards. While participating in a national photo

contest, sponsored by material supplier, my entry was awarded first

place. I was promoted to Sales Manager, transitioned sales from

contractors to lumberyards and two step distributions. Controlled

sales budgeting and forecasting, set price points for each level of

distributor while maintaining profitable margins.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER 3/98 - 9/04

Responsibilities included: reviewing prints, establishing a budget and

draw schedule, see that budgets and schedules are maintained,

establish a sub-contractor base, apply for all permits, set site

grades, schedule sub-contractors, site inspection of quality and code

compliance, order materials to match schedule, establish a punch-list,

communicate with owner throughout all phases for residential, multi

family, and commercial construction.

Responsibilities in construction ranged from lead finish carpenter to

project supervision. With project supervision I was in direct contact

with the sub-contractors and owners seeing that construction

specifications were carried through and quality craftsmanship was

performed
