Awarded the competitive Hodson Trust mentoring stipend through St. John's
College to intern with award-winning filmmaker Maggie Burnet Stogner.
Independently produced research reports and presented recommendations and
ideas for cross-platform multimedia project. Designed website and
accompanying artwork. Assisted in budgeting, arranging travel, compiling
production binders, and relaying material to third parties.

Expanded blog into community website to serve as a hub for the private,
public, and non-profit sectors. Redeveloped website by diagramming better
functionality, designing graphical art work and commissioning graphic
artist. Produced 5-10 min. web episodes and accompanying blog posts.
Researched urban development theories, city/state/country statistics, and
relevant news. Developed comprehensive communication strategies to improve
image of criminalized neighborhood. Pitched partnership projects to
possible corporate sponsors.

Worked side-by-side with Director on Capoeira's Children(WT), a documentary
about Capoeira and its effect on children from disenfranchised communities
in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Re-established local contacts that had been dormant
for 4 years, translated verbal and written correspondence, organized travel
itineraries, acted as guide driving and accompanying Director through Sao
Paulo's poorest neighborhoods, carried equipment, shot footage, and
recorded audio for interviews.

Assisted in the production of international current affairs documentaries
focusing on post-production; Gained experience in: advising on editorial
content and creative standards; reversioning acquisitions; writing scripts
and treatments; screening and critiquing cuts; developing briefing for
anchor; screening experts and compiling interview candidate shortlists;
assisting at interview shoot; fact-checking; narration record. Wrote
