o Led team in digital field collection of all storm
drain systems collecting rainwater runoff from all
state maintained roadways in Carroll County, MD
o Inspected all state maintained storm water
management facilities and scheduled maintenance and
re-inspection
o Oversaw quality assurance and quality control for
all data while ensuring all spatial data and
attributes could be merged with all other Maryland
counties in a statewide geodatabase
. Montgomery County Low Impact Development Retrofit
o Evaluated 58 Montgomery County government
buildings and designed storm water quality
retrofits using low impact treatment methods such
as bioretention facilities, green roofs,
raingardens, pervious pavement, rainbarrels, and
dry swales
o Created ranking methodology to prioritize all
retrofit opportunities based on factors such as
cost per impervious area treated, landuse treated,
visibility, and utilities conflicts
o Computed pollutant loading and removal for each
opportunity based on drainage area, land use, and
type of storm water quality treatment practice
. Designed retrofits for existing stormwater management
facilities to conform to current Maryland Department of
the Environment water quality standards
Picerne Military Housing- Field Engineer
Fort Meade, MD (June 2004 - May 2006)
. Scheduled and tracked all installation of utilities and
grading operations for the construction of 369 new
single family homes
. Oversaw demolition of 58 existing homes including
asbestos abatement and hazardous waste removal
. Served as liaison with Fort Meade DPW and Environmental
