Title: Human Resources Assistant
I am highly interested in the Human Resources Assistant position in
Atlanta, Georgia. I feel with my five year work experience providing
administrative/legal support to the Floyd County Magistrate Court, a
college degree, and a paralegal certificate, I would be an asset to the
department in its daily operations.
I am a United States citizen and graduate from Shorter College with a
degree in History and a minor in Business Administration. My studies
included the traditional finance and business courses as well as writing
and research courses for my major. After graduation, I participated in the
Work Ireland Program, which offers recent graduates the opportunity to work
in Ireland for four months. I have also completed the Paralegal
Certificate Program at the University of Georgia.
While in college, I managed to maintain a solid GPA (3.61/4.0) and keep my
five year commitment as a deputy clerk with the Floyd County Magistrate
Court, working on average four hours a day in the afternoon. My
responsibilities included, but were not limited to, receipting incoming
cases, recording garnishment payments manually and electronically, updating
electronic records, drafting correspondence, answering telephones,
organizing the office filing system, managing court's cash, reviewing
claims, data entry, and other office duties. I am proficient in Microsoft
Office programs and type 40 words per minute.
I am prepared to go through the necessary training to fill the position. I
also have a valid driver's license, and I am willing to relocate. Feel
free to contact me if there are any questions. My email address is
************@*******.*** and my mobile number is 706-***-****. Thank you
for your consideration.
Sincerely,
