Professional Experience

Retail and commercial project management including thirty years experience

in all phases of construction. Twenty-five years experience in Construction

Management and twenty-five years

experience as a Master Carpenter. Outline, draft and report all current

and outstanding bid proposals to be approved and/or submitted for vendor

and company clients. Act as liaison scheduling deadlines, completion dates

and projection of Certificates of Occupancy between vendors, sub

contractors, and clients. Create market data proposals for current or

potential projects. Review all plans and blueprints for accuracy prior to

submitting for phase completion.

In additional to above responsibilities, oversaw, motivated, hired,

counseled, trained and terminated employees as needed. Created estimate's

for company budget approval oversee and submit all quality control

reporting, safety/risk management implementation and reporting. I worked

with the Army Corp of Engineers on numerous with Opus and widewaters and I

worked with the DOD in Aberdeen on the Gate project with Opus. I also

worked with DOT on 3 Home depot projects with major infrastructure

improvements.

Opus East, LLC. Rockville, MD 2008-2009

Construction Superintendent

Supervised all aspects of scheduling and construction process of an eight-

story office building; including the installation of curtain walls.

Completed all phases of construction including the mechanical, electrical

and plumbing. Oversaw and directed the start up of relocating the utilities

and infrastructure on a ten acre site for a six story precast parking

garage.

Widewaters Syracuse, NY 2005-2007

Construction Manager

Building $3-$10 million dollar big box prototype Home Depot stores tilt-up

concrete

construction and concrete panelized construction. On site supervision of

the

complete project including: site and building combined and building only

completing project on time and within budget.

Construction and Manufacturing Manager

Oversaw, implemented and directed the outsourcing of all U.S. and Canadian

contract labor for an international manufacturer of retail store interiors.

Coordinate all aspects of contract relationships, including: hiring,

quality control, budget maintenance and scheduling on-time deliveries.

Achieved reduced expenses and brought all contracts into

company over and above margins for construction and manufacturing

departments. Oversee production by traveling on-site as necessary to ensure

Nomus America, Inc., King, NC 1986-1998

Senior Field Superintendent/ Acting Facilities Operations Manager

Personally supervised all aspects of construction in the field, including;

travel to the site, estimating time and labor required for all phases of

construction, hiring union and non-union trades as needed. Motivated and

coached the superintendents in the practices of the organization and all

aspects of retail construction. Evaluated potential construction projects

from the home office and assigned each project to on-site project managers

Lead Supervisor

Commenced and completed retail and commercial construction projects for a

Florida commercial builder.

Designed and produced a multi-million dollar renovation of a 650,000 square

foot office and warehouse complex. Designed and planned a 650,000 square

foot warehouse, including the installation of a rack systems and a 120-door

conveyor system. Oversaw the renovation of a 200,000 square foot retail

store from demolition phase to project completion.
