WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

More than 15 years of extensive experience in Electrical, Instrumentation,

Controls, & Automation, plant-wide maintenance TPM, SDM, root-cause

analysis and reliability engineering.

Provides technical expertise in design, engineering, procurement,

construction, installation, pre- testing, commissioning and plant start

-up of various industries and projects such as refinery, gas plants (ASU,

HyCO), chemical and petrochemical plants, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor

industries, wafer fabrication, metal industry, and sewage treatment

plants. Related duties and responsibilities are;

Engineering & Maintenance (E, I & C) Management

Overall in-charge and manage electrical and instrumentation

engineering, process controls design & configurations (DCS/PLC) and

equipments' periodic, preventive, predictive maintenance planning. Provide

technical support, consultation & training to Process Engineers &

Technicians as well as manage maintenance staff and contractors. Hands-on

component-level troubleshooting and conduct root cause analysis of

equipment and systems failure.

Analyze maintenance history and performance trend to develop equipment

reliability profile for continuous improvement, produce monthly

maintenance statistical data for performance analysis. Liaise with

vendors, equipment manufacturers and inspection companies to achieve

performance improvement.

Take-off of bill of materials, maintain & update spare parts list for the

smooth operation of the plant.

Closely coordinate with process team, safety and other departments and

actively participated in HAZOP studies.

Manage budget control for E&I maintenance.

Engineering, Procurement, & Construction

Construction management which includes project planning & coordination,

procurement, bid evaluation review, quantity surveying (QS) and quality

audit (QA/QC).

Project FEED technical coordination activities which include liaising with

owner's representatives, engineers, vendors and all plant-related

engineering discipline through all phases of construction.

Involved on detailed engineering design and review of relevant drawings

such as single line diagrams, schematics, termination, P&ID, hook-up,

logic/control based on plant process philosophy for client's approval.

Responsible on selection of all relevant electrical equipment and process

instrumentation as per specification and plant process control

requirements. This also includes preparation of I/O list, cable schedules

and all related plant instruments and equipment's detailed list for

procurement.

Construction in-charge including design coordination & implementation.

Addressing site design queries and modification as to conform with actual

construction & operation requirements. Liaise with client & engineers to

ensure that works meets with specifications.

Hands-on commissioning, calibration, functional testing and loop

troubleshooting of various electrical/instrumentation plant equipment

system. Leads the team for refurbishment of existing plants design

modifications & implementations for hook-up with new plants on partial

shutdown basis.

Related plants start-up orientation, operation & maintenance manual

preparation, punch list completion, supervised plant operation and

maintenance inclusive during warranty period up to complete project

reconciliation and handover.
